Today we will take a little day trip to review the a newly spooled film called Luminar 100
What is it? Where can you get it? What's the deal with flaming hot Cheetos Mac and Cheese?

@@BadFlashes Honestly though, love your content. Even though I only photograph digitally, your videos speak to me a lot, my post processing is heavily inspired by film and your videos are much more about taking nice pictures and the creative side of photography! :)

I liked the quiet reflection period at the end of the video lmao! This film looks really great and I'd love to see it in 120 but knowing they're reusing old film stocks I assume this is only available in 35mm. Great as always!

It’s funny how I guessed it was aero chrome because I thought of Jason’s flaming hot mtn dew protest. Seeing that it’s basically what I thought it was is kind of surprising.

That shed kind of reminds me of the shed at a relative’s place we used to visit when I was 4 years old. The shed was illuminated by a couple old-school (2 phosphor) fluorescent tubes, one of them flickered a bit, and a few neon beer signs. It was definitely a vibe.

Just seeing the film stock being plastic and hand spooled, I instatnly knew that it's probably respooled areo color. There must've been a huge oversupply of that stuff cause there's quite a lot of businesses that sell respooled areo color I bulk ordered like 5 rolls of FlicFilm Elektra 100, really lovely to shoot with! Just needa tell the lab to adjust the scanners for the clear base.
Noice vid, Got two rolls Lookin' forward to cross prossing it to E6 for my poor mans slide film.

I guess ice cream for the last meal in those bowls. Unless it was survivor man, in which case it was probably raw scorpions with stingers removed. I liked the shot with the large Joshua tree by the derelict house. Maybe it's just me, but the last few minutes seemed a little dark. ;-)

Isn't Luminar 100 similar or simply like Film Elektra or SantaColor? I've seen multiple of these 100 ASA films of late all being Aerocolor IV being respooled?

Amazing. With the amount of warmth and minor desaturation it has, it reminds me of expired film.

Assuming this is the same film as Elektra, then scanning as a positive, and then converting to a negative yielded solid results for me with it.
