So glad to see you back! Thank you for sharing your hunts with us. I truly look forward to your videos. Very nice finds! The craftsmanship on that lighter is superb. GL & HH to you!
Yesss, I was waiting for this for some time. Thanks very much for enjoying us again with a great video. Next to that, thanks for the inspiration! Cheers :)
I just noticed that everyone of the UA-cam channels that I watch that metal detect takes time to video the different wild life around them also ! Just like you did around time marker 2:30 - 2:50 which to me is awesome ! Because to me it shows that all of you care about the area and fill back in your holes after digging ! Thank you for doing that !
I look forward to explanations of targets with German nomenclature . It's pleasant to learn details overlooked by others .I enjoy your days off , Thanks .
Nice finds. I especially like that Magirus car/tractor emblem. Nice surrounding shots in between. Cool shot of the great spotted woodpecker. Great video as Always :)
Thank's Dan! I really enjoy your videos. Your patience and explanation of your finds are very good. People might think you just walk into fields and find good stuff. I know you are turning over lots of dirt to get something to show us. Greetings from Florida, USA
Nice finds Dan thanks for sharing. Loved the silver brooch and crotal bell. Don't think the bells are something we have in the states and i really like them. Will be checking your videos more often youtube has stopped telling me when you post them lol Good luck and happy hunting friend
Hi dan I just discovered this metal detecting business you get up to, it's absolutely fascinating. I love history especially war history. Anyway I've looked at all your vids and look forward to more. Keep up the good work. Thanks from Ireland.
Good to see another video from you Dan :) Amazing finds as always! Keep up the good work and congrats for the SA belt buckle. Not so common find :) Cheers
Nice find at time marker 7:14 ! I'm glad that you respect the owner about the wild boars ! May I suggest calling later in the year to see if you can return after the piglets get older ! As you have found some awesome stuff here !
+Digging History Thank you very much. The buckle is as expected a field find which had experienced the plow a lot of times. So it´s not too bad a find. My next vid will be awhile cause right now I´m just working working working.
Congratulations also from me especially I liked how you restored that twisted buckle, funny find that Italian coin, usually it is from the '20s and it's a pretty classic find in Italy just like nazi pfennigs in Germany, it is commonly called "the bee-coin" due to its theme on the other side. In a bit less than one month I'll visit Berlin with my detector, let me know if you want to have a hunt together. Good luck for your next hunts! - Andrea
Hey, habe den channel gerade erst gefunden, ich finde es klasse das die gefundenen Gegenstände auch immer gesäubert gezeigt werden! Mach das bitte weiterhin so :) Bei den meisten anderen channeln sieht man nie richtig was! Good Luck hunting :D
great finds again. we sure had to wait quite along time for a video from you. but i was worth the wait ;) btw I hope that it was the last so that the stones in the broche were real ;) Happy Hunting
Hi Dan, You did some great finds, thumbs up! But the Dutch 2,5 cent was absolutely the best find of this trip, just AMAZING ;-) :-) :-) LOL The Dutch are everywhere ;-) Thanks for sharing, very enjoyable. Best wishes my friend, GL&HH Don
Very kind of you Don! On that field you'll never know what there is to find. It was a very surprising find that dutch coin. By the way do you know what happened to Mr Krabinay? His channel seems to have vanished. I hope he's alright. All the best and GL&Hallo, Daniel
Hi Daniel, I spoke Danny today and everything is okay with him. We also did a hunt together a couple of weeks ago :-) Danny deleted his YT account because he was sick of some people on YT and he want to get a break from making video's. Maybe in the future he will come back on YT. I will tell Danny you ask for him, he will appreciate that :-) Have a great evening, GL Don
Hey Dan. Did a google image search on the KFR. Added the rifle to the KFR and found the image of a V3 German Mauser. It may or may not help but thought to mention it.
Ahh, it is great to see a new video from you - I love hearing that intro music at the start of your videos and knowing you're about to share some great finds again and this was no exception! (may I ask what that music is by the way? It feels familiar like I should really know what it is, but I can't recall... )
Hi Dan, you make great videos. Can you tell me if a permits are required in Germany to search in the State owned forests? Do I need a licence from the state to metal detect on "public land" I assume if permission is given by the local land owner then no permit is required? Thanks for any help you can give me. Regards Mark
I keep it like that: if the landowner allows you to dig it´s OK. On public land it depends on who you´re dealing with. I had so and so experiences some foresters for example appreciate that I´m collecting nearly all the trash( beside some tractor axles) I find and that I thoroughly close my holes, some don´t and they shoo me away. Which is alright. So I now have my personal "map" of places where I can enjoy my hobby and that´s where I go. All the best, Daniel
As long as I can afford it I'm not selling anything I find. But if anyone would want something real bad what I did find and would be willing to pay the right price I couldn't decline. Could I? Thanks for your interest.
Fein , fein !
Do you know of the WW2 HISTORY HUNTER ? He is in Germany also and metal detects and looking around the different bunkers and stuff ! His video from Aug. 26 of last year I believe he was near a piled stone wall and found some amazing stuff in pretty good condition stuck in and around the stones ! I was wondering if you had ever done the same thing around piled stone walls !
+goldmanjace Danke aber ist dir auch aufgefallen das magirus in meinen Ohren mit deutz genannt wird und nicht magirus ulm. Wann waren die denn in Ulm weißt du das vielleicht.

It feels familiar like I should really know what it is, but I can't recall... )
Wow thank you! The music is a slightly edited version of johnny cash American recordings V " gods gonna cut you down "
All the best, daniel
Thank you, will go have a listen... :)
What kind of job do you do, since it seems you go to different countries?
I'm a freelance sound engineer and I do go to different countries sometimes. Thanks for noticing =)
aa, interesting, I'm a musician and our band is getting more and more attention, maybe I'll see you around someday ;)
Brauchst du für den Wald eine Lizenz oder geht das auch so?
Wenn du den besitzer gefragt hast gehts auch so.

you leading us down the garden path mate? You may need to forage 10ft. either side where the goodies were tossed.
Great video do you sell some of your stuff that you find on internet or not
As long as I can afford it I'm not selling anything I find. But if anyone would want something real bad what I did find and would be willing to pay the right price I couldn't decline. Could I?
Thanks for your interest.
Hi, great video as always, can you recommend a metal detector for my 8 year old son please. Also do you find any Roman objects?
Sehr schöne Funde Dan, weiter so!

Hi Brian, how you're doing. Thanks for your comment.
All the best, Daniel
Is your house built in the middle of a WW2 site? :)
19:57 Maybe it reads not "KFR". Maybe it says "Kahr".
Possibly boar hunting on Hungarian coin being found at time marker 8:12 !
