Yeah every time I do some parkour in a public somebody is always you can't do that here. Do yourself a favor a go to a park that has a hiking trail, big open space, and lots of trees
I still love this video after so many years. I still love the idea of training all sorts of different ways that are not specifically for certain "parkour moves". This is definitely one of my favorite inspiration videos for conditioning.
You know those videos you always liked and keep coming back to it. This is the video really meant to be here on UA-cam. I look like a bodybuilder but I was always encouraged by parkour and calisthenics athletes. But without you guys here I wouldn't ever know about the Farley's Husks. Really great video.
@radioextremedj I've been practicing parkour for almost 7 years now. We started conditioning about 6 years ago when we realised the importance of strengthening the body to be able to withstand the strains and stresses of parkour over a sustained period of time.
Can not WAIT for your guys' next video. Your Nature of Challenge videos completely inspired me to start parkour. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Awesome ideas guys. Thank you for providing such a great resource of inspiration. I've been doing just a few of those and already a bit of routine has set in. Now I have lots of new ways to gain strength.
You guys are awesome. It requires a lot of strength to do those exercices. I would love to have someone to train together like you guys do. Keep it up!!!
really nice vid! ispirational as hell guys! I am 36 (today) and am a laborer for brick layers so i get alot of strength training at work alone but need to kick it up a notch. thanks for the vid, keep it up guys!
Great video guys. I always recomend your first video to folks that dont want to go to the gym, now i have another. I just want to quit work and go workout. Keep up the good work. One day i will come and do parkour with you guys
Yes, it's very close to Deansgate train station. To get there from Piccadilly Gardens though, walk down Market Street to Deansgate and go left, following Deansgate until you get to the Beetham Tower (the very tall building). One of the roads on the right is Liverpool Road. Go down there, and you'll find some of these spots on the left, just past the museum.
Dude this stuff was sick:) Some never before seen movments... Im at work and I cant wait to go on break to try out some of this suff... Thank you for this video...
I've been doing it for almost 23 hours. My body is sore and hates me now, but I'll be doing some stretches and recovery then and going at it again. Instant Parkour Addict.
glad you put in alot of work into one video just because of that and without looking at your channel or other vids i will be subbing to you keep up the good work i look for to do some of these moves
this is sooo cool. love it. the streets look so clean tho - hard pressed to find THAT in NYC. the gym i go to, there are trainers who focus on similar exercises. for their more advanced clients haha. i do some similar exercises in between heavy sets or heavy lift days. i love these exercises more!
We do conditioning for 3 hours on a Tuesday evening. On Thursday evenings, we train parkour for 3 hours. Saturday is an all day parkour session, which usually also has some conditioning thrown in. We do bits of conditioning on Sundays too. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we just do a few light exercises at home (pull ups etc).
Parkour involves of the most naturalistic movement humanbeings can utilize when adapting to modern day structures and environments. This stuff's gold. And so are rusks.
Absolutely incredible. I am envious of your strength. I am 42 and just taking my first parkour class. I have lost 56 pounds in the past 5 months exercising in the gym and changing diet then found parkour. @Obsidian: What is the key to doing the pushups with your feet against a flat wall? My feet always slip down. Also when Dave (I think) was doing the pike position and pushing out from the bar, what are the progressions to get there ?
The thing that really appeals to me about parkour workouts is its not just trying to gain mass or trying to gain strength and bench 350. It practical strength that you actually can use.
The one thing I love about working out Parkour style is that the gym is everywhere. It;s like I said to my nephew just get up and do something already.
This is awesome, I will be working on a video like this by myself. I understand it is a ten minute video. I got a few ideas from you guys, I really like the videos. Please make more and continue witht he work. The audio is really cool as well.
me and my friend were trying some bodybuilding, but it wasn't the right thing (we are both very light weight cathegory). We have found this video very inspirative, because it shows normal training, not just some extra master level stuf and we are preparing some training program built on this... I have not watched all your videos yet, but if there will be some commented video, how to begin, how do things and how not to do things, it will be great... good job :)
It depends on how much you do in each session. I'd say you can do an intensive session a couple of times per week, with some light exercises on the other days.
If you have trouble doing pushups normally, try doing it with your hands on something to elevate your upper body, like a chair. When you can do those easily, go to normal pushups, then when those are easy do them with feet elevated, hands spaced wide, staggered hand positions, jumping your hands off the deck etc, as & when you're able.
Sure. Practicing climb ups will develop the muscles and technique you'll use in various climbing activities. It's also good for developing explosive power in the upper body.
We train 3 or 4 times per week. Only one 3 hour session is dedicated specifically to conditioning, although we do incorporate some into the other sessions throughout the week. We do have a forum. Google Northern Parkour and you'll find it :)
I love you guys and I love parkour(free running) it's a great sport and it keep our body helthy, flexable and strong also we are having fun when we doing it for me I started body building for three months and when I get fit enough I well start the parkour
that's amazing you guys got discipline. You guys would make master sergeant in the military real fast or you could even be a shalin monk with all that strength.
There's a good book called Building The Gymnastic Body - The Science Of Gymnastics Strength Training. In terms of muscle ups, there's a video called 'Muscle Up With Mango'. It's done in a comical way, but does actually contain useful information about the technique.
Undoubtlly the hardest part about this is finding the right spots and people.
Yeah every time I do some parkour in a public somebody is always you can't do that here. Do yourself a favor a go to a park that has a hiking trail, big open space, and lots of trees
You can find most parkour groups on the internet, and they already know a few spots. But really finding spots on your own is hard and takes time.
BearNiption Smith Where do you live? I only heard that once in my city
Anmeldn i live in los angeles
la is pretty big i guess, maybe bad luck, google parkour groups or parkour spots

I'm seeing this video on 2020 and it gives me motivation and new ways to improve my movements
Still use this for when I need new conditioning exercises in the classes I coach haha
I'm glad you still find it useful Alex :) Maybe I'll make another conditioning video in 2017.
yes please :D
2022 I'm still watching this beautiful training thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Same! Er, time to start "doing" it though I think *looks around* ahem uhh
Shit, they should have told that 80 foot jump was fake before trying on my own. PS. I'm dead now.
Well now I at least know I have UA-cam in the afterlife
Jacques Krause In the after life you can perform a 80 foot drop :))
Adrian Cojocariu Nice. :P ..
***** Maybe from here the fallen angel camed to be, an angel tryed to do a parkour roll but he missed the cloud !?
+Adrian Cojocariu Romania ! =)))
This is amazing! I coached boxing for a long time and we could never do things like this...
Hats off to you guys!!!

These conditioning videos you guys put up are great. I'm glad you all put in so much ideas and variations into the workouts. Can't wait to see part 3.
LOL "Look at that guy he's eating rusks!"
"Shut up" xD
Can not WAIT for your guys' next video. Your Nature of Challenge videos completely inspired me to start parkour. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
i remember watching this back then in 2012 when i was playing parkour now i am a loser
Never too late bro
Incredibly creative and inspiring! Thank you for posting these collections. Well paced and easy to see what you are doing.
Awesome ideas guys. Thank you for providing such a great resource of inspiration. I've been doing just a few of those and already a bit of routine has set in. Now I have lots of new ways to gain strength.
The way this is so light-hearted and humourous too makes me feel more motivated and confident to train, ha. Wish I could train with you bunch.
Thanks. I'm glad that you found this video useful in your recovery! Good luck with your ongoing training :)
you guys are awesome......im definetely including lots of your workouts in my routine.....hurts like hell but I LOVE IT
You guys are awesome. It requires a lot of strength to do those exercices.
I would love to have someone to train together like you guys do.
Keep it up!!!
Excellent training. A lot of functional movements which are definitely applicable to free running
I love how effortless all of the moves look!
***** it looks like effortless, but it's really hard to perform that in consecutive times..
I meant that they make it look effortless not that it looks effortless
yeah, you train parkour too? :D
Yep, much more fun than being in a gym
really nice vid! ispirational as hell guys! I am 36 (today) and am a laborer for brick layers so i get alot of strength training at work alone but need to kick it up a notch. thanks for the vid, keep it up guys!
Guys, you are cool. The first part was a lot of fun, and now the second is awesome as well. Keep up the good work.
Great video guys. I always recomend your first video to folks that dont want to go to the gym, now i have another. I just want to quit work and go workout. Keep up the good work. One day i will come and do parkour with you guys
I like how the exercises vary in difficulty. Some of them look super hard, but there are others even I might be able to do.

Great video, you guys incorporate every aspect of urban training. nice job, keep up the great work.
This is some crazy stuff. This gives me a few ideas of where to start.
Amazing workout!! I´ll start with it right away! Thanks!
This is why I need to visit UK, or England at least. The architecture and the parkour enviroments look so awesome!!!
Dude this stuff was sick:) Some never before seen movments... Im at work and I cant wait to go on break to try out some of this suff... Thank you for this video...
You are the proof that human body is the strongest machine in whole universe. Great video! Greetings from Croatia.

I like the way you guys train... Gonna be in Manchester next week at a training camp ... will try some of these :) ! keep up the good work
I've been doing it for almost 23 hours. My body is sore and hates me now, but I'll be doing some stretches and recovery then and going at it again. Instant Parkour Addict.
glad you put in alot of work into one video just because of that and without looking at your channel or other vids i will be subbing to you keep up the good work i look for to do some of these moves
I defy anyone who thinks this is easy training to give it a go. I'm in awe of these guys.
Thanks! There will be more to come this summer!
this is sooo cool. love it. the streets look so clean tho - hard pressed to find THAT in NYC. the gym i go to, there are trainers who focus on similar exercises. for their more advanced clients haha. i do some similar exercises in between heavy sets or heavy lift days. i love these exercises more!
There needs to be a book with this inside. Make one please!
very diverse routine...amazing amount of creativity i love that
Thanks. 5'6, 150lbs. We're working on Strength Training 3 at the moment. It should be ready before Christmas!
this reminds me why I need to continue working out. I love how the most expensive equipment is the tight rope. all else is free!
We do some kettlebell training, and occasionally use weight vests too.
I'd like to see a body builder try some of these gymnast like training techniques! Great video!

Love it - thanks for sharing, one day I hope to be strong enough to try some of those exercises. Must be the rusks.
Now this is a video worth bookmarking. Well done guys
Humorous, entertaining and informative, I love it!
Great job with your vid. Cinematography, humor, unique. Keep it up.
You guys give a whole new meaning whe people say "You don't have to go to the gym to workout."
You guys have some serious upper body strength, great vid.
Parkour involves of the most naturalistic movement humanbeings can utilize when adapting to modern day structures and environments.
This stuff's gold. And so are rusks.
thanks for the info bro! I lived in Sydney for 2 years! Amazing place and i plan on settling there... I will check it out! Cheers!
Absolutely incredible. I am envious of your strength. I am 42 and just taking my first parkour class. I have lost 56 pounds in the past 5 months exercising in the gym and changing diet then found parkour.

We have one dedicated conditioning session per week, but I do at least some conditioning most days.
awesome deffenatly gonna have to add some of this to my routines
My friend thougt that strength conditiong is useless than I showed him your videos and he totaly changed his parkour thinking thanks :)
bro thanks a lot for all the info... unfortunately living in a small town sucks.... but behind a store is a great idea! thanks!
The thing that really appeals to me about parkour workouts is its not just trying to gain mass or trying to gain strength and bench 350. It practical strength that you actually can use.
What a bunch of great ideas. Take care with the flexion and torsion done by the lumbar back. These two movements combined can damage it.
wow u guys r doing everything a person should do in a gym...excellent!
The one thing I love about working out Parkour style is that the gym is everywhere. It;s like I said to my nephew just get up and do something already.
just watching you guys made me feel like i just had a workout.
I watch all of the videos you guys put up they are very good
Yes, because parkour is about personal progression, so you tailor the training to your own capabilities and train in a way which you find challenging.
you guys are amazing, lots of great ideas!
Some exercises require a lot of strength... from level 8 to 10! awesome video
This is awesome, I will be working on a video like this by myself. I understand it is a ten minute video. I got a few ideas from you guys, I really like the videos. Please make more and continue witht he work. The audio is really cool as well.
Very strong and great all round fitness. But got to watch those knees.
Great vids! Keep it up!
The BADDEST video in all of existence. DAYUM SON!
Justo awesome. Nothing else, thanks for so much inspiration!
me and my friend were trying some bodybuilding, but it wasn't the right thing (we are both very light weight cathegory). It depends on how much you do in each session. I'd say you can do an intensive session a couple of times per week, with some light exercises on the other days.
Great body weight exercises! Even if you don't train in Parkour. Good stuff lads! Thanks.
You never know when the second to last exercise might come in handy.
You guys are beasts. I'll be right behind you as soon as I get some health insurance that covers arm reattachment.
This was a great video. Ever considered making a printable version of the exercises? I know many people, including me, would really benefit from it.
This is VERY inspiring ... Posting it on my FB page ...cheers and thanks
Sure. Practicing climb ups will develop the muscles and technique you'll use in various climbing activities. It's also good for developing explosive power in the upper body.
GREAT VIDEO AND TRAINING. THANKS.
Very original, people!
Def: you've made the best call for training!
Greetings from Serbia.
We train 3 or 4 times per week. Only one 3 hour session is dedicated specifically to conditioning, although we do incorporate some into the other sessions throughout the week. We do have a forum. Google Northern Parkour and you'll find it :)
I love you guys and I love parkour(free running)

Great tips & training Ideas👍
Thank You !!!! Very inspirational ! Educational and it is exactly what iwas askingUniverse for...ideas of training while having fun
There's a good book called Building The Gymnastic Body - The Science Of Gymnastics Strength Training. In terms of muscle ups, there's a video called 'Muscle Up With Mango'. It's done in a comical way, but does actually contain useful information about the technique.
Finally, someone has spotted the subtle anti-smoking message!
