Nice I just bought a ,17b so your videos have been awesome. I had trouble finding a place to live after my landlord gave me 30 days to move out because he sold the house. And I couldn't find an apartment so I bought this 17b and I'm living out of it with my little chihuahua. I've been having an issues with storage. So your videos have helped tremendously along with another couple that put some videos on. Thanks for putting these up so everybody doesn't have to suffer trying to figure things out.

@@lilye679 Home Goods in the check out line and I found it by accident. Are you a member of the Facebook 17B owners page? There’s a ton of ladies who have found similar options since Home Goods is so hit or Miss but any light weight mirror would look. I’ve seen some ladies use the $10 full length mirror from Walmart with the heavy duty command Velcro to hang it and it looks darling.

Wildly Graceful we don’t- just a small fur baby. We plan to hit the road for about 6-8 months after my work contract ends here next July. Can’t wait- trying to do lots of research. Grew up on the road a lot with the family so have some info. Will definitely watch your other videos

Nice! I’m totally thinking about getting one of these travel trailers to store a bit Tucson area when I’m not there in the winter but I am thinking about getting the 17 R. Is there a fire extinguisher in this travel trailer? And also is there a way to cook outside like attach a griller or something?
@@pnwrving9841 yes there is a fire extinguisher. No outdoor cooking attachments but we set up a Blackstone grill or, better yet, reserve a bougie camp site with a propane grill. 😆Happy camping! We love our 17B
Wow you guys covered pretty much got all I needed to know on dimension for storage as well as Ideas for more storage. Quick question is there more storage underneath the bottom bunk like in the 2021 Coleman Lantern LT 17B?
Absolutely there is. Ours is empty but we will measure it tonight.

Would you mind telling me what the depth of the shelf over the queen bed is? We are waiting for our trailer to arrive!
How exciting! It is 10” deep and the wall/ceiling curves at that point. I have found very few baskets fit because of the shape. I have a couple shallow baskets up there and they’re empty.

What do you keep in the under storage of the bottom bunk?
Nothing. I haven’t needed any further storage and I still have room under the clothing bins under the queen bed. I have enough supplies for 5 adults (3 are adult kids) to last for a week. What are you going to keep under your bunk? I love to hear new ideas. Happy camping!!

Just a big cutting board. On the 17B owners FB page there’s several folks that build cutting boards custom to this stove. I’m not that fancy.

Where do you store your dry food pantry kind of food?
Hi we use a Sterlite 3 drawer unit at the end of the bed by the fire extinguisher and it fits well. We attached eyelet hooks that hold it in place turned backwards during travel with a bungee cord. Here is the Amazon link for two, but also available at Walmart. amzn.to/3jkVUAj
I pre-prepare anything I can. I make my pancake batter at home and put it in a half-and-half container that I re-purposed, I crack all my eggs and pour them into the same kind of bottle so those together take up almost no space. I bought small salad dressing lunch box containers (see kitchen video) and I put the syrup in those so no space is taken. In the dry food container I keep my coffee, a small oxo container of sugar, loaf of bread, vacuum sealed ready cooked rice (if it’s on the menu) so it’s tiny, and all my spices are on my magnetic spice rack. The rest of the dry food, chips, nuts, jerky, crackers, etc fits amazingly well in this 3-drawer container. I just downsize from home before hitting the road. I don’t bring anything in it’s original box/container, unless it’s compact.
Where did you get the lined baskets you use under the queen bed?
Amazon and I LOVE them because they grow if I need more room but that has never happened because they’re literally the perfect size.

Is the stand at the end of the queen bed storage?
Hi Melinda, the Sterlite espresso brown 3 drawer unit we use fits great by the fire extinguisher and the under storage at the foot of the bed. We use it to store our dry goods and have it hooked with eyelet hooks and a bungee cord during travel (facing backwards). Here is the link to a 2 pack: amzn.to/32IbgsK
But the built in part at the foot of the bed is not storage.

It’s a 35 quart, made for a pull out trash cabinet. I’ve included a link to a similar one as I can’t find the one I purchased in my order history.
