- I think it's pretty clear that sometime in the future.... Callum and Aaravos are going to have to interact. They are going to have to clash. But the question is how? What are Aaravos's plans? How will he try to deal with Callum? With he approach him as foe, or friend? These are the questions that I want to try to answer today.
I think if Callum has magical lineage it would be through his Mum as, Ez also shows some magical power through talking or having a connection to animals
He could also have a magic lineage from his birth father as well as his mother
Callum’s mom, or Sarai, is related to Amaya and there fore, Sarai was born normal, but later understood the sky arcanum. Or she was born with the sky arcanum understanding, and Amaya has it too. But Amaya is deaf and doesn’t talk so she can’t preform spells.
I would love it if he trained Callum. If he trained him, Callum would use his tricks and defeat all his foes and villans, only to be faced with fighting his teacher. The one who knows everything he can do whereas, Callum knows nothing about him.

I wonder how aware Aaravos is of Callum. To the best of my knowledge the only thing Callum knows about Aaravos is his name. However he has been poking around that mirror a lot and it is possible Aaravos can see him. He might of also of seen him during his fight with Viren, albeit it not in a form Callum could see.
Come to think of it Callum hasn't interacted with Viren all that much. Just a little bit at the start of book one and a final fight at the end of book three. He has had more screen time with his kids.
What about Claudia? Aaravos has had two years to pick her brain, and not just about Calumn.
Let me remind you that Aaravos is thousands of years old, knows dark magic spells and rituals Viren never heard of, his knowledge of the six original Arcanums is probably equally immense, I wouldn't be surprised if his combat skills are on par with Rayla and Soren if not Amaya and Juhani, he is cunning, subtle and utterly ruthless. The idea that Calumn could, in one human lifetime, gain the power and skill to take down an enemy of that caliber is simply ludicrous. The arch dragons are the only ones who will be able to stop Aaravos. That's why the series is called the Dragon Prince and not the Step Prince.
How much of a longshot is it to guess that the connection they might make in some sense between Aaravos and Callum is maybe through Callum's mother or father or both or ancestor who might have a history with Aaravos in some way which extends to Callum bit since Callum wasn't born back then, Aaravos doesn't make the connection until he encounters Callum and sees his capability with magic as one which is greater or equivalent to his own which he hasn't encountered since Callum's parents or ancestor. Or they go the way of Callum being a normal person with a gifted ability for magic which is rare.
I get the feeling Aaravos' plan for Callum isn't as clear cut but Viren unknowingly plays a part in it which might mean that Aaravos' little manipulation on Viren was just so that he could get to Callum originally but he needed Viren to be seen as some kind of power mad antagonist in the eyes of which diverts suspicion from him since not a lot of people have seen Aaravos thus allowing him to somehow smooth talk his way right to Callum for whatever agenda he has planned.
(It's been a while since I've watched past seasons of the so if I'm mistaken somewhere, let me know)

The creators keep on saying that aaravos is complicated on one hand he is kind and genually cares for the humans but on the other hand is arrogant and cruel so I see once he leaves he would want to tutor calum and build a master-aprentence dynamic originally to manipulate him but after a while he genually cares for him and see the humans that he "helped" in him
No. He will not help him, he’s a irredeemable monster. He’s too avaricious, and he doesn’t care about him. He only wants to use him to his caliber. It’s a theory by someone who just says he acts nice but he’s really not. Idk y he became evil tho. For now we can just make inferences, after I know nothing about him and what he did deep down as it all got erased when viren try to find out about him.

I think the most likely scenario is that Aaravos will try to manipulate Callum to join his side and give up his search for Rayla. Aaravos has already been shown to be a master manipulator and a corrupting influence on both Viren and Claudia and it's possible that Callum will be his next target.
But how is Callum a valuable piece? Why would he want him (besides being the only human mage)
What will he do with him and y is he so important?
He did say callum was his fav so the best example i can think of is when u have like idk 4 switch games and u have a favorite game so u play that game the most.

The creators have stated that Callum is not the first human to learn an arcanum but it has been so long since a human has that it’s been completely forgotten that they can. However it’s very rare and difficult to do so. I forget if it’s one of the books or an interview where it’s implied that human mages would study primal magic for years in an attempt to connect to a primal but it was difficult which is why when dark magic is introduced they embraced it. It’s also been stated Callum’s lineage doesn’t play a part in him learning magic since that undermines the hard work he put into it.
It’s also been stated Ezran is an empath which is separate from primal magic. (Also I’d think at some point one of the runes would have glowed on the key of Arravos when it was near Ezran then)
i’d really prefer if callum did not have some fancy or powerful lineage. i doubt he’s the first human to ever use magic through the arcanum, and i’m of the opinion that the elves and dragons essentially lied to humans about their magical capabilities and made it out to seem impossible for their kind. callum is inherently a better character and a better asset to the plot if he does not have some hidden lineage. it makes him that much more special and badass if he can use magic because he genuinely has the strength and intellect to do so.

Imagine Aaravos forces Callum to switch places with him. While Callum is where ever Thunder sent Aaravos, said Startouch Elf is raining all Hell.
Imagine Callum learns how to master the Star Arcanum while imprisoned.

Aaravos will offer to help Callum to free Rayla's parents from the coins by using dark magic, and Callum, wanting to help those poor people and reunite Rayla with her parents, will be severely tempted to work with him or make a trade with him in order to accomplish that goal.
@@AccumulatedKnowledge Because Runaan is one of Rayla's guardians, she cares about him, Viren trapped Runaan in the coin, but since there is now peace between Elves and humans, it would a good peace offering to free him since the punishment is cruel and unusual, and because Callum cares about others.

If I had to guess, they'll either take your option 3 or they'll try to redeem him at the end where the main three (or at least Callum probably) wants to give him a second chance.
Aaravos knows that a certain human boy jumped off of a cliff to save a certain elf girl, and he's cunning enough to figure out why the boy did that and how to make use of those feelings. It would have been easy enough for him to pick Claudia's brain about Calumn and if there was a way to interrogate the elves Viren imprisoned in those coins, Aaravos would know how.
Depending on how quickly Aaravos got all of that information, he may have sent Rayla the dream she experienced in the Graphic Novel in order to lure her into a trap, which would explain why no one has seen her since.
Without Rayla, Calumn would be lost and easily tricked by someone as subtle as Aaravos.
Probably, but rayla is definitely key to get to callum. But y is callum so valuable? What will he use him for? Is it because of the cube or he saw right threw him and knew a teen learning sky magic would be become op, so it’s best to use him to his caliber after he Betrays him.
But how the actual fuck will callum listen to aaravos? He’s so Afraid of him that he told rayla to kill him after he controlled him. But aaravos is a genius so he will come up with something crazy

The main theory I've been going with is that somehow, Aaravos is going to use Rayla to get to Callum. The reason I'm thinking this is that we already see Callum marketed as an Aaravos puppet on season 4 promotional artwork, and it sure looks like Callum's main drive this season is going to be Rayla-related since it's clear he still loves her and wants to find her. So I really believe it's possible that whatever Aaravos does to get in Callum's head, it has to be about her.
Yea, probably that’s something that he wants very badly. And it probably trick him somehow, idk how but he doesn’t trust aaravos so badly that he asked Rayla to kill him if aaravos make him do something bad. So aaravos would have to come up with a genius plan. Which he is a genius as all the elves were so sacred of him as runaan said “you have found something worse than death” so that means that aaravos is mostly the reason why there is the whole war with humans and dragons as when he showed them dark magic he tricked them and used them to cause genocide. Which the elves cannot stop, and not much elves or people know about him because he cannot be talked about as he was too powerful. Like not even rayla heard about a elf named aaravos
Let’s also not forget that Callum has something that Aaravos undoubtedly wants: the magical cube… his key.
It’s said to unlock something great in xadia. So I think it’s the key of aaravos but not the key to Aaravos
I’m curious how many people have read the canon comic for TDP that was made as a background of info between seasons 3 and 4 and explains several things. It’s called Through the Moon and the plot of the book is Rayla having a suspicion of Viren surviving the finale of season 3 and whilst it’s only a simple comic it’s still very interesting and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but it’s canon and should probably be read before season 4
I like the theory that Erebos will manipulate Callum and train him secretly. It’s a pretty commonly used trope, but still a good one. Also, you’re right that Callum has never met Erebos. He might have no idea that he’s learning magic from someone with malicious intent. Even if Airbus only visit him in dreams or something.

Aaravos is going to, manipulate Callum as his target thoses are my predictions for it.
If Aaravos gets to Callum it would be very similar to Darth Sideous getting to Anakin in Revenge Of The Sith and Maul getting to Ezra in Star Wars Rebels Season 2 and 3. Watching Callum using Dark Magic to free the red dragon and then passed out is another reference to Ezra making a connection to the dark side of the force to protect Kanan and passed out. I just hope that Callum will soon realize Aaravos's true colors like Darth Vader and Ezra learned the true colors of Sideous and Maul.
Maybe Aaravos is an ancestor of callum.

I think Callum is Aaravos’ target because he has the Key of Aaravos, something that clearly belongs to him. He might use Raul’s as a motive. I’m starting to be very much afraid for Callum this season

I think team Aaravos is going to meet Callum due to the Key of Aaravos in Callum's possession. SPOILER, in "Callum's Spellbook" it talks about the cube and how when he would roll it, the key would only roll in a single direction "as if it's being pulled by something". Since Viren and Claudia are going to need some way of finding Aaravos to free him, it could be that the key is what will do that if the cube is rolling in the direction of Aaravos. Plus the key is a mystery that is tied to Aaravos and this part of the series is called "Mystery of Aaravos".
Also I like the Palpatine scenario the best.
I think that the Key unlocks Aaravos' personal library and Claudia will just need access to the mirror to free Aaravos himself.
Is it possible that Callum distant direct descendants from aaravos via Callum mother side of family?
i dont really see how callum could ever "match aarovos" in terms of magical skill. aarovos has been confirmed to be at least 1000 years old, he's a super powerful and super skilled, experienced and knowledgeable elf. it would be very unbelievable and honestly impossible, for Callum to be about to out match him.
it seems as though the show is heading in the direction of trying to unite the human and magical worlds, so i think that in order to take Aarovos down, the humans and magical creatures like the dragons and elves will need to work together to beat Aarovos. this seems way more believable than just like omg this random teenager just out magiced a 1000 year old elf.
@@AccumulatedKnowledge bruhhhh, if not even all of Xadia could kill Aarovos, how is Cullum supposed to match that. there's just no way, and id be pretty pissed if they tried to make me believe that some random kid just became somehow more powerful than a 1000 year old legendary star touch elf.
it would just feel so dumb and like major plot armor and would make Aarovos look a little like a dumby... so yea idk. like Aarovos literally killed that sun elf just by touching her, and he wasn't even in his full form yet, he also possessed Callum, and like yea i just dont see how it would be realistic for Callum to be able to match that.
i definitely think that all of Xadia will have to try again to kill him but with the help of Callum and our other main characters, they will finally find a way to kill him unlike beffore

Because Avatar The Legend of Aang was also a show for mature audience and there are so much reference to it. Even the voice actor who dubbed Callumn had dubbed Sokka's before
