- First time we started rear of grid on the weekend, played it a bit conservative and had the boost turned right down to try and get it to last. Got 6 laps through out of the 7. Had a blast passing a heap of cars!
The car was actually harder to drive with the boost turned down because it took a long time for the turbo to spool up. It seems as though the boost mapping isn't quite right in the lower settings.
I ended up parking up near turn 2. Watch until the end, made for a bit of laugh trying to turn around and roll the car back down the hill.
6 laps of you around Bathurst = better racing than we've seen in the 2019 F1 season so far.

Right foot down and turning in to counteract the understeer from 6:55 and doing it TWICE! downhill, throwing it through the gears, That's some awesome driving right there, bravo sir.
I loved the salute to the blue falcon as it came past! Is that Ray Hislop's car? Made me laugh hard!
it sure is mate...that car is way ahead of the field... having said that Jordan deserves a big drive he can steer both front & rear drive cars to the max

This is more entertaining then anything on UA-cam and TV right now, ill watch this all day any day. Obviously you don't have the fastest car but anybody highly sponsored can go fast in a straight line but you demonstrated skill in the curves and that's where the fun is. CHEERS.

I suggest a rear camera for using the space on the top of the screen.
The difference is he would at least win and finish races with the Civic, total waste of time with these horrid old turbo nissans..

Flag drops and Jordan is up so many claccas I lost count. So much faster through the esses than the vast majority of cars. His cars have good turn in and he is so confident he can get the line. I would love to see him on dirt in a top rally car - I reckon he would be exciting. Always fun to watch him drive.

That my 1200 S/W had a 5spd GX-headed A14 did bring back some memories.
1200s were a great little car!
Mine was even good at towing an 8"x4", though the 180kph claimed by those 'boys in blue' was another matter indeed (I've always doubted I could pull 7,000rpm in 5th, myself)!

You could hear it breaking up at high rpm, he may need some top end fuel pressure.

He was doing great up until the little beast had a stroke. The poor bugger was having a good race and that little 1200 turbo had some grunt I was impressed. His driving was great to watch.

Never underestimate a Datsun. I had a few Datsuns, 1600's mostly, L series motors, with turbo's or twin webbers. Raced street, speedway and drag. Tough little bastards!

Lots of race wining _[sic]_ cars, have DNFs - just as lots of fast race cars aren't able to hold it together long or often enough, to be competitive.
Also, I hope no wining - or associated dining - causes DNFs to happen.

That missed shift broke some gearbox/transmission stuff, but I'm not sure it was his fault. SIck driving as always

This was BAD TO THE BONE!!! Until the problem. Did I overhear at the end when he pulled her into the stall, that it was the oil pump? I wish the driver/crew would show the outside of this AWESOME ride. Is it a fastback or coupe? I had a 72’ Datsun 1200 coupe that I just LOVED! All black inside & out, no chrome, 5 point roll bar, rebuilt motor, Centerforce clutch, modified air intake, racing seats, steering wheel, lowered 2”, Lexan tinted side rear windows, 14” aluminum rims with Dunlap 185/60 series performance tires, custom free flow exhaust, Wink rear view mirror, racing mirrors, post mounted tach & more. It was street legal in California USA. So much fun to drive. Unfortunately I sold it. Wish I kept it. That’s life. The guy who bought it was really into older Datsun rides like I am. Please post/show more of the car outside, motor, driver & team. Thank you for posting!! That driver was really HAULING ASS!!! Cheers to ALL auto racing nuts! Also, it looks like you might need a taller high end gear for the straights, maybe? KEEP ON RACING! I LOVE that track. And yes, I definitely subscribed to this channel.
