A great art work inspired by the Holy Spirit. Keep up the good work in the Lord's vineyard brother Shola. There are two incidents from the bible which stood out to me in this movie. The first being the story of Adam and Eve. The centre here being Adam as the ruling authority of his home and earth. In the bible it was Eve who sweet talked and deceived Adam her authority. In this movie it is the authority himself sweetalking and deceiving. Like Adam, Kelvin lost his domain after sin. I get a feeling that Kelvin sinned greater than Adam. Because he is the authority and head, the wife God have him he destroyed and murdered in a sense. His seed and wife alike Kelvin sent to the grave. What if the child in the womb is actually his golden child, his special Isaac? Which leads to the next story in the bible I felt the movie reflected. King David. David was upright and rughteous untill he committed adultery. Adultery opened the door for other sins as lies, deception, hypocricy and murder like Kelvin here. It is interesting that instead of the Holy Spirit meeting Kelvin in the spiritual realm, he encountered his concience instead. Clearly Holy Spirit left him once fornicated. Have understood myself that sexual sin is a very dangerous and deadly sin, worst than all apart from sinning against The Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit leaves at once sexual sin is committed and the christian is basically left an orphan and vulnerable to anything available. Which also reminded me of never to be overconfident. One is never strong above any sin. Especially something as sexual sin when dealing with the opposit sex, especially someone awaiting marriage with. Kelvin was so confident that he is a strong christian which he was, so it is alright to be touching and holding the hand of sister Josephine now and then. Well, he was wrong, his overconfidnce lead to the very fornication he believed he was too strong for. Then pride in reputation being destroyed and fear of shame lead him to double murder. It is great that he finally repented and reconciled with Jesus, but he sent his wife with his child to the grave. Certainly Josephine has a personal responsibility to stay on the path of the cross. But Kelvin is never the less responsible. What if Josephine is actually the woman God formed from his rib? In that case only Josephine can mother his promised children. And Kelvin sent her to the grave for fear of shame. Fear of shame more important than preserving the woman made from him for him, the only correct helper and companion for his destiny. Well well well. Also realised that abortion is one great form of murder. The options available were to scrape or vacume the baby out. Imagine now you and me being completely unable to talk, move, fight and scream. Some giant hands with weapons suddenly just appear decaputating your whole body piece by piece out of planet earth. Suddenly some electronic wonder super vacume just sucks you out of planet earth. You are not welcome here, you are not wanted here and must be removed by all means. So you must be murdered in this manner. Abortion is clearly a very wicked form of murder Just a thought.

The pride, position & other things that made guilty souls to do their best to cover up as Kelvin chose are destructive & would still be hunting, till it's acknowledged & confessed to the right persons/groups
God is indeed merciful, he never stopped warning Kelvin.
I'm sorry for Josephine who lost her life in this... Though she blamed Kelvin for the abortion, but on that note I believe she chose to terminate the baby.
As for the sin of the flesh that both committed Kelvin can be blamed, but the abortion was on her.
Let's not forget that every decision we take counts and has consequences...

What a great lesson indeed! But what I don't understand, why did he go to hell after confessing his sin?
However I must thank God
for the grace upon our lives. Once when I was younger in Christ each time I sinned I ran away from God, i felt unworthy and unloved, indeed sin is a separation from God but I was ignorant to the fact that even though God sees and knows that we have sinned, he still opens his arm for us to come and REPENT and FORSAKE all our sins so he can wash us and make us whole again.
Hello. Thanks for your question. If you watched the movie ‘GONE BACK HOME’ very well, you will notice that Kelvin did not go to hell in reality. The hell part was just a revelation which he saw when he went to the mountain to pray for forgiveness. Yes, he confessed his sin to God but remember, in the movie, his conscience and the Holy Spirit repeatedly instructed him to carry out the next important step of confessing to the parent of the girl he pushed to death via abortion - this is what is known as RESTITUTION. Kelvin refused to do this. Therefore, his repentance was incomplete. We hope you understand now. We pray God will help all of us not to miss it. Thanks for your time.
