Hey Matthew good to get an update. Sorry you're in some pain. Good to hear about the clinical trial though. It sounds like it's in a very early stage but, as you said, it might keep you well enough to jump to the next treatment. Regarding the tomotherapy option, would it be possible to be hospitalized during the 5-week course of treatment? Also, it sounded like you halted the Tramadol. Will the sleeping problems resolve themselves soon?
Merry Christmas Matthew. It’s good to see you and hear from you, my friend. It sounds like you have been going through a hard time. The side effects sound exhausting on top of the treatments. F*ck that bile duct, eh. I hope it stays clear. As always and ever, hugs and hope to you.
they dont use opiates in Japan do they? No Hospice or Palliative care? You should be able to get an opiate that works for you.; Ive read the culture is different there when it comes to opiates and palliative care.
They use opiates here. I've tried 3 but the side effects were too extreme. I'll probably keep looking. One other option would be to have palliative radiotherapy to shrink the tumours that are pushing on nerves.
There's a chance I can have TACE for the liver mets. It depends on what blood vessels are present in that segment of my liver(S1). About 30% of people have a certain artery in that area that can be used for TACE.
Sending you my best
I'm sorry to hear about the increase in pain and all the side-effects from the different medications. Take good care.
Best wishes, man!
Prayers and best wishes man.
