This was due to the fact that Rock was not ready for this relationship from the very beginning. But he himself did not know what he wanted, and therefore he either approached Emerald then moved away from her. He did not really love her, but trying to see Sonya in her. Emerald understood this and was not going to tolerate it any longer. And Rock, when he realized what he had done, found the strength to apologize to her and say that she deserves better✨
