This is terrific, more "modern" than his 1st Symphony (Ruins/Fort) which is 13 years more recent (2017) ! What is going on ? !
But I only know these 2 works of AIRAT ICHMOURATOV (Kazan 1973- ) only partially....
Strains of Tchaikovsky @ 11' without sounding limited or restrained.
It is a great strength to find new things to sing in an old idiom...
