Heya! Thank you for watching! What's the worst grind you've gone through in a game? I think mine was getting the Smashing... to Pieces! achievement in Xenoblade DE. Took me around 9 hours... yikes.
You know, i never really had to go out of my way to grind. Mostly cause i constantly got lost and found myself wandering around in circles, trying to figure out where to go next. So the levels kinda just came about naturally cause you can't really walk anywhere without being harassed by 1000 enemies with every other step.
If you buff Loid and Ana's defense when they're new to the party, and have them guard every turn, they will easily survive and level up naturally. No need to go out of your way to grind. I find this game was really hurt by the fact RPGs weren't popular outside of Japan for the longest time, meaning most players in the west don't quite understand the genre's difficulty design and just assume hard = grindy.
Nice video! For the remake part there is a team that are planning on making a remake of Mother 1 called Mother Encore but they will also add things to the game, such as overworld sprites and using your bat out of battle? (that's what I saw in the trailer) you should check it out!
Hey I have a question for you what is your favorite enemy recolor in mother 1 I’m talking about how the enemy’s get different colors and are stronger but look the exact same besides the colors mine is the star miner idk but just seeing the purple and pink makes the bomber from Duncan factory look plain anyways I wanna see your opinion on this question
I love this question haha. I definitely have to go with the Red Snake. There’s something so exciting about seeing an enemy you haven’t seen for a few hours and wondering why it’s there- only for it to run away immediately. But if you do defeat it, you get 500 experience, which makes the encounter even more shocking. It’s exhilarating every time I see one.
@@Nillerz hey thanks for responding I did not think you would and yeah did you know that the red snake had a chance to drop a magic coin so thanks for responding and thank you I know I don’t think any mother fans have ever asked this question can I ask what is your favorite mother 2 enemy recolor mine is the over zealous cop I don’t know why maybe it the blue mixed with the hint of green but thank you again
I have a new question for you an I know I have a lot of questions for you but I just love hearing your opinion and this is if you were to make a new starman what would it look like, what would it be called, what would it’s weaknesses be, what psi would it use would it even use psi would it have an ability that no other enemy has, how much psi would it have, what would it’s offensive and defense be, where would you find it, what would it’s story be, how much experience would it drop, and what would it say when you check it I know that was a lot but please I hope you see this

I love this game. Faults and all. By far the easiest for me to jump into and replay it. I love the choices you can do for the final battle (having Ninten only, Lloyd and Ninten, Ninten, Lloyd, and Teddy, or Ninten, Ana, and Lloyd). Once you get stat buffing offense up the game becomes a ton easier.
Yeah, it’s quick exposition really makes it easier to pick up and play. It’s nice to just play around with it for a bit. I’ve never played it without the usual four party members, but it sounds interesting. How much harder would you say the game is with just Ninten or one additional party member?
@@Nillerz In order to get Ninten only to fight the final boss you still have to get Lloyd, Teddy, and Ana. just climb the mountain 1st with Ninten, Ana, and Lloyd instead of Teddy. Get Eve, get Eve's melody. Then return and get get Teddy for Lloyd. Travel back to the healer's house again. Trigger Teddy leaving the party and Ana going in the room with Ninten. Then use the Onyx hook to go to Magicant with Ninten only. Now just climb the mountain for a 3rd time with Ninten only. You can still use the healer's house you just won't get Teddy back into your party (he is like he said resting on that sofa), and if you go in the back room with Ana you'll find her there so you can get the game back on track if you want. But still, as long as you can leave the room and you have Eve's melody you can fight the final boss with Ninten only. Psi shield cuts Giygas' attack power in 1/2. As long as you are faster than Giygas you can beat him easily as long as you guard and heal as needed after shield is up and sing in break. (always give Ninten the 3 speed caps in the game, he gets the most out of the 15 possible speed from them).
Im gonna take it as it justifiable that lloyd is useless because it is the first game and itoi couldnt find a way to make a psiless character work, literally all the other character with no psi work better
It’s got some of the most powerful PK moves in the series. Beam y kills someone have a Franklin badge, pk freeze y reduces someone’s health to like 1, and pk fire o kills all enemies. They only don’t work on a few enemies or in beams case, one with a badge.

I used to be a big enjoyer of the SpongeBob Movie game. One day I decided to grind 99,999 manliness points. Took me about 2 days lmao.
@@shizzinadizz Wow! That's super impressive, especially with the "anti-grinding" mechanic.
@@sabaprofessional Must be a challenge! Have you done this with EarthBound Beginnings? If so, how did it go?
Ah ok. My bad.
I highly recommend the fan translation if you do end up playing it.

Mother Encore isn't going to be an full remake, it's gonna be different in a lot of ways. It's just Mother 1 spirit in it's core.

Fix the terrible level up system
