There are some pretty good deals on Anker's site right now. I got myself the EverFrost 40 for $399 (I also bought an additional portable battery bank, so it applied 2 coupons to the cooler). Much easier to stomach $399 vs. $850.
Yeah, looking out for sales is a great idea! I've been thinking about a second battery - maybe I'll have decided by the time I make the follow up video!
@@aarontong8713 I got it directly from the Anker site. It had something to do with buying both the cooler and the portable battery (with solar panel). It was 100% luck on my part, but when Anker has deals going, it's for sure worth checking what kinds of combos you can get.
@@MikeTrachtenberg thank you,we bought it, comes with free 100 watt solar panel and $60 off of the 2nd battery, it has a home in back of our H3, so when we go shopping it will keep everything cold, and not have to make return trips to the house so the heat doesn’t melt/ heat up the food in the bags, and when we go on trips with the H2 will just carry it over…..thanks again !!!
I am 99% sure, yes. I can say this - I had it plugged in via DC (to charge the battery) and as soon as I unplugged the cord, the cooler continued to run on the battery. Did that help?
I actually haven't needed to charge it yet lol. Since making this video, I took the cooler out on a 3 night camping trip and it didn't even need a charge (temps were mid 60s during the day, 30s at night). I'm sure this will be addressed in my follow up video at the end of the summer! Sorry I can't help more yet
@@RicardoGonzalez-yz1vp it’s not on the Anker site. I emailed customer service and they asked me to transfer money to them through PayPal. Once I sent them a screenshot of the transfer they submitted an order for the cover.
@@dribeker there’s cheaper ones I looked at 1 for $700, for the everfrost 50, but there remanufactured, there saying it’s just as good, but for $300 I’ll take the brand new one, with the full 2 year, 3 years on the compressor ….

I do not buy anything related to these solar companies without a sale . The price changes constantly (many sales) always look around for coupons
I bought one and it’s good so far. I notice some condensation around the seal of the freezer though. Is that normal?
Hmm I'm not sure. I haven't really used it much as a freezer yet! I'll need to give that a try

The bigger one is approximately 10" x almost 12". 13" deep and the smaller one is 13"deep for half and 7"deep for the other part!

How did your power station do when re-charging the battery? I’ve got the 767 (2400w) and just got a Everfrost 50 refurbished model.
