i really can´t understad the last 2 rules...specially the last one... when i saw the video, i went to google to research more about this topic and it says that actually the past continuos can be used to describe repetitive actions in the past, that it legal to use time expresions like always, constantly and others. if some one can give an example of wrong using i would be thankfull
2:28 - according to the "LearnEnglish" page, the past continuous can be used "for something that happened again and again" (e.g. I was practising every day, three times a day.) Am I interpreting this incorrectly? Isn't this an example of a repeated action? Thanks in advance.
The given sentence is correct, but it's not formal or grammatically "perfect". Instead of that, you can use "I used to practise every day, three times a day" / "I used to practise three times a day". This is much better and also follows the rule of not using past continuous in repeated actions.
i hope that they make another season. Full grammar. This is amazing show

What does "neck and neck" mean ?
Hi! We say 'It's neck and neck' when two contestants or teams have exactly the same number of points before the end of the competition.
Yes

Can anyone please explain to me the meaning of the phrase: ..."but I will change for person and time" (0:16) 🤔😵💫
It's a play on words because the verb 'will' doesn't change depending on the person and time it's used with.
- WHO IS THE WINNER??
- ME
