- Welcome to the Grammar Gameshow! Test your knowledge in this crazy quiz! The presenter is a bit strange, the points don't make sense and the prizes could use some improvement, but at least the grammar is correct!
In our third episode, Will and Leslie ask their guests about their past habits. Who used to? Who would? Aren't they just the same thing? Can Mike win through again? Which animals will get fed this time? How will you score? Find out in this episode of the Grammar Gameshow!

Someone can explain me what is the difference between a state and past actions?
I use to practice grammar every day.
I would to learn more vocabularies.
Did you would to act as a fighter?
No I didn't use to be a fighter.
Who noticed that jay is the same guy in the first episode
It is useful! However, I don't still know what is "a verb with no to." What I mean, I know what it means~ but I cannot find using of "a verb with no to." on the internet.. is 'with no' same with 'without'?
what do I have to do to be a participant???
-I used to smoke every day/would smoke every day.
-I used to live in the village.(It cannot be 'would live' because in this context it is not repetitive action but permanent state or location.)
" I would learn English while enjoying" After Grammar Gameshow I will say " I would enjoy English while learning "
Peter madrid espoide 31
is this Tim🤔 ??!!!
wait jay is alive?!
Question number two's answer is explained wrong, instead of D, Leslie said B, please kindly correct.
Leslie is referring to the verb "to be" in the sentence "I would be shorter", not the letter "b". 😅
It says in the second part answer is D but Leslie says answer is B ?
Sorry, Emre. Leslie says that sentence D is incorrect (and therefore the correct answer to the question) because it uses would and a state verb - in this case, the verb 'be'. It's possible that hearing Leslie saying 'be' has been confused with Leslie saying the answer is 'b' - which is an easy misunderstanding to make. Don't forget that we now provide subtitles - so if there's any confusion, have a look at them. Thanks for your comment, and keep watching!
thanks for The explanation, I had looked at the subtitles even I'm puzzled
Please say D is incorrect instead of saying B is incorrect . The all - knowing voice in the sky should pay attention to his ps and qs !
