I haven't seen this in a solid 3 decades. Good stuff. Love the now vintage equipment. The fully populated aerodynic light bar on the pumper is beautiful.
And this instantly transported me back to being like 5 yrs old. I've been trying to find this for years and now I can share with my 3 yr old! Thanks for this.
The Mack's were a massive fan favorite in New Jersey and in NYC+Suburbs... I was lucky enough to see Deepwater, NJ run a Mack/Baker Tower ladder back when I was little in 2006 before the replaced it with Cherry Hill, NJ's 2007 Seagrave/Baker a full decade later.
This is crazy I was a kid in New York watching the aquarium episode wishing I was able to watch this tape (but I didn’t have that one) not knowing anything about Nutley. Now I live in Nutley! Terrific Trips incepted me
+JakeCrashedMC There's nothing wrong with using old engines and ladder trucks as long as they're well maintained and serviced. That old red C95 is probably rated at between 1000-1250 GPM, and the lime green CF 600 is probably about the same, which is common for a present-day first due engine. Yes as apparatus ages and parts wear out it becomes more difficult to locate replacements, but they can be found or made. Many brand-new Fire Engines can't hold a candle to the old pumpers as far as reliability goes, because there is far too much electronic bullcrap integrated in the design. A vehicle intended to save lives in very dangerous situations and likely to be covered in water, soot, and grime in the line of duty should not have many electronically operated systems, I don't care how water resistant they are, if there is a leak, water at 150psi plus will find its way in somehow, and then what? Someone dies because a chip or a circuit board shorted out and the apparatus could not function as it was intended. Just because it's old, doesn't mean it's not up to the job.
Those are old trucks my dad drive one when he was in the fire service thank you to all those are in the firefighter service I was in a fire service I was in since 2006-2007-2013 and thank you to all those in paramedics service as well

You would only dispatch an engine to a leaf fire not a ladder if it was a bigger leaf fire you would dispatch 2 or 3 engines
