Nice vid, you''re an animal. About to get one of these bikes. Amazon has the Aluminum frame version, and the steel frame. Yours looks like the Aluminum version. Seems to have a little different rear shock linkage. Not sure which one to get. Will not be doing any mean trails like you do. Mostly easy stuff for a 72 yo man. Bones don't heal as well anymore, lol.
Is the Aluminum frame version that much better, any weak points in the aluminum you've found..? Interested in your air shock upgrade, can you list a link or part # please. does it need the upgraded fork..?

Hi I have many videos showing my upgrades, you don't need a fork the stock one works it's just heavy compared to the air one. I found the whole linkage for the shock and the bottom one especially needs to be modified the bottom one is so lose I had to shim mine...see my other videos. if your not going crazy I would get a front only suspension fat bike and a suspension seat post as fat bikes are cushioned enough and you really don't need a full suspension one. Hi yeah it's rough and there are are other spots to get up but they are just as bad. it did get smooth with the new rear shock it's much better now. Thanks for watching.
