I watched this movie so many times I could recite the whole thing - every line. God to go back to this time.

Christian and Samantha had great chemistry despite Mark being shy around women. They dated in real life

_I believe this scene represents how two people when alone, can truly express to each other the very trueness of intention they have for one another. I always think about when she said. to him " its okay you don't have to talk you don't have to say anything or do anything unless you want to". I one day would like to meet that woman that has that style that I in turn would love to go heart to heart respectfully with her because I think a relationships should be that way._

_Alas as this generation will recognize him from Mr.Robot. Such a great underrated flick. The best spent 1hr and 13 minutes of my life. I remember "Pump Up The Volume" being one of my most favorite movies to grow up with. Though this was released in the '90s, this movie perfectly portraits the early '80s era. The hair, the clothes, the cars. It's one of my top ten movies. It's like i could see myself in there, growing up in that time and culture. I could relate to the movie in many ways. '80s were a great era for music, they don't make 'em like they used to. Nothing, i repeat, nothing compares to the '80s. If i had a time machine, i would go back leaving everything behind in a heartbeat. Thanks for this video, i appreciate the fact that you decided to keep the video in a 4:3 ration. Feels like a VHS video, very aesthetic. Keep up the good work! xx_

I was born in the early 2000s and honestly I would go to the 80s in a heartbeat, it seems like such a great time to live

    "Talk Hard!"
Six year old me running around talking about Happy Harry Hard-On after watching this movie back in 1990. I wore my VHS out rewinding it to the scene where Mark lights a cigarette, spins slowly in his chair then gets up to walk to the sliding door as this song plays. Man, if Christian Slater wasn't a god back then.

This movie saved my life, and this scene, and her stripey top, gives me chills even now. A rare movie, that seems to grow in relevance thanks to podcasts.

I don't know why people think that Mark and Nora had So Much Chemistry when it was the total opposite Mark looked very annoyed with Nora a lot through the movie in fact look like Mark was going on for Paige. To me Mark acted like Nora was bugging him which personally I did like Nora as a character I think that they should have been better interaction between Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis I know the two of those actors have potential chemistry I just didn't see it in this movie but overall I love love this movie I found it funny and entertaining and all kinds of emotions but overall I enjoyed this movie I remember really really wanting to watch it in the beginning of the 1990s when I was only in my early teens I remember it was on a service call pay-per-view back in the early 90s .
