I've been hunting for an affordable tank in Canada without having to pay american duty fees and international shipping. How much did that unit cost for you?
I bought this Tank a few weeks ago. Its a Fantastic Looking Tank, part metal part ABS. It runs Great, turns on a Dime. How ever, when raising the Cannon it makes a clicking noise and it hesitates. I was told by the seller this is normal? Well my other HL Tanks go up and down with no clicking or hesitation. Any one else having the same trouble?
One problem, the Veteran on top is turning green............ maybe he's been riding in that tank too long? :) Time to get some flesh colored paint and some pics to model it. I'm a prototype model railroader thinking of getting into some RC, cars aren't very much fun, I like tanks!
I enjoyed your video, I too purchased this tank, ordered it from Hobby King.com. We ordered two, one came dead on arrival and the other worked perfectly in every way. So it is kinda hit or miss if you receive a working unit. However, for the price, including shipping, it was far less of an investment to see if you enjoy playing with RC tanks and then to decide if you want to upgrade.
i just got my walker tank about a week its really alot of fun but i knocked it off the bar and broke one of the drive wheels the ones with the spokes that drives the tracks i orderd some metal ones now could you tell me to install them all i need to do is take the one screw out and put the the new wheel on are do i have to go throu the in side also i didnt git it the clear head light lenses with minealso the red light dont work on the front are eather does the little head light im new to the rc hobbie hope to hear back from you soon
John DeCicco I'm really not sure on how to install them my friend. but how ever I will be taking mine a part to repaint it another color. check the manual and see. thanks for watching
I've got a 2700 mah battery used for my rc monster truck. But can I use it for the tank? It's got the same connector on the battery all I need to know is if the 2700 mah battery is allowed or be used with this rd tank?
You did not apply the decals the right way. The transparent layer is supposed to be taken off after about 15 seconds or so. Then it will look very professional, just like they were spray painted on..

Hey, you put the decals on incorrectly. You know that little clear plastic thing over the decals? After you put the decal on, you are supposed to peel that clear plastic off.
Not being a ass but I found a better one on amazon for only 50 bucks which shoots BBs but regular price is 90 but since I have amazon prime i get it for 50 with 1 day shipping

+Atomic Astronaut hey bro I'm not mad at you in anyway. Your just doing ur homework on the RC before you buy it. I do the same thing as well. To answer ur question there is a little flex to it. I think with the metal version of this tank it would flex a lot more because it would have metal tracks my has plastic tracks so it's a little more stiffer. Metal tracks? Metal gears? Meal motor? Is the speed proportional or just one speed each direction? Proportional meaning variable or steady.

Metal or plastic track?
This is the nimblest tank among all my HL tanks. It crawls as slow as a real tank should when you feather the sticks and it turns on a dime!

You use it that as long as its not a lipo battery ur 2700 mah means longer run time

Its a known issue, the decals do not detach from the plastic film as it should.
