Any consideration for sending an Orc slave stack over to raid Zharr Naggrund? Early labor plus income, can do until better established and I don't think that Zharr Naggrund will declare war on you especially once you establish an alliance with them.
just discovered the "horde razing/selling" gameplay into the chaos dwarfs some days ago, changed completely my early grinding my gameplay is especially "slow expansionnist" with some exeptions, so finding that kind of gameplay is great for me
What I do to get the edge in chaos dwarf campaigns is to raid Zharr Naggrund with an army of goblin laborers to get some gold (almost pays for the army itself) and 400 slaves per turn. Since they're a sentinel faction they wont attack. This is enough for early/mid game slave generation and makes it so I dont have to rely on pointless battles for slaves. Then with this big influx of slaves I can rush construction/trade them for gold. This makes chaos dwarf early game a breeze and since you can level up your production buildings very fast you also dominate in mid/end game. I only confederate Zarr Naggrund when I discover more sentinel factions (one is Nagashizzar at the bottom of chorf area).
It took me 20+ turns to get all settlements in the Zhatan "pocket" getting rid of the Tzeentch and the marauder factions. Before expand into cathay. after turn 30 i felt i really started to snowball on Zhatan but i did not enjoy it at all. Draz was nonstop action, and more careful positioning to not get steamrolled by grimgor, skaven,undead,nurgle etc. But Draz is such a great lord once you get in the air. Spamming his wonderful hashut spells.
That's the best part imo. They can have a brutal start, and in pvp campaigns they can be rushed down, but the longer the game goes on the more powerful they become. They feel like a proper Chaos Tide, building up steadily and then exploding into action.
I don't think this cheese is going to be that effective. My own personal experience is that it's very rare for me for the AI to be able to trade more than 2k gold except in the first 10 turns. It may be a decent strategy for the very early game to get the ball rolling, as it were, but it's not sustainable. This is on VH/VH. That said, something you failed to highlight is *selling* slaves for gold. This can actually yield a lot of gold, and if that gold can enable you to grow faster it will also yield more conclave influence in the long run. Early game playing as Chaos Dwarfs I now sell all my excess slaves for gold, and this gives me enough working money to build up my economy.
- Raze Capitals for Gold and Materials
- Retake capitals for instant towers
- Trade towers for gold.
- Sack minor settlements for labor force.
- Win

I love this faction but after turn 60 they are just so ridiculously powerful

@@4dealliance598 theres no challenge after turn 30 tbh and turn 60 its so boring just having 4 armies in 4 corners auto resolving everything with ease

@Costin_Gaming practically speaking, more people are playing VH then legendary due to not wanting to deal with the save game/battle pausing stuff.
