So the big mistake was Ireland. You never core it, always just go for the union immediately. It saves you all the rebel issues and will give you an extra Diplo slot that states even after you integrate them.
I wouldn't call it a mistake., but the aim of this campaign was to make England as developed as possible, see that in Ireland I had several provinces of 30 deva each :D

@@edwardharris2388 Nah, there may be something there, but I have not yet seen AI make all provinces dev level 25 in 25 years.

Another tip regardign scotland. The English Army mission gives you a subjugation mission on scotland, that means -50% for vassalization of the whole country, that makes the cost lower than 100%. No need to do that fiddly trick with the irish minor.
Fun fact, conquering Scotland generates less AE than vassalizing it. And as I said in the movie, if I declared war on the capital, it would be for 1 war.

One england tip that none of the england lets plays do is. Rival Scotland and declare a humiliation war on scotland. France has guaranteed scotland and will join. France will exhaust it's manpower on the forts on the continent while england 100% scotland, Humiliating scotland for the age bonus. The good thing is that if the cesession of maine happens when france is already at war france will not start a war if you refuse to hand it over. When scotland surrenders you will have portugal, castille, austria and probably savoi and/or brittany as allies and france will not attack due to the strength of your alliance.
Well, if I don't have Scotland on my list of rivals, I can't compete with it :D

Maybe without european interventions you can save money in short term because you wouldn't need an army if you stay in british islands.
Without these lands to England it will have 60/65% of its trading power. It would then be necessary to send a fleet to the English Channel instead of to Regusa.

Strange :D Inheritance is now practically guaranteed. Only happens during peace. The counter resets every time you have a war.

I thought I was saying why I do it like that in the movie. Overall, conquering Scotland generates about 10 points less AE less if I had marked the correct province. Another thing is that Scotland released in this way is loyal and you don't have to do anything with it.

That extra tax is never worth the hassles of clicking through it for the barely 5-10% extra income it generate imo.
Every country where Tax income is high is worth focusing on taxes in the 1st era. If you do everything right, you practically increase this income by 85%. Then it affects the CL cash. In the 2nd era, you give up on it and change to other reforms.
