I’m 22 years old. Some of my earliest memories are of being in the back of my Dad’s car and listening to this concert. It’s now 2024 and have since moved to Chicago, I’m alone in my room listening to this thinking of my old man. I love you Dad, sometimes you can’t make it on your own ❤
Well I can't not reply. I think I was alive before you even heard the album. (especially the one before). Some advice: I should stop advice as a non-father. Practice your singing, harmony, guitar, other instruments, and awareness of how to construct a song. I'm not there.x😊
And bass. I tried bass. Very worthwhile.
This is awesome I haven’t known anyone else my age who loves this band and grew up with them like I did. I am also 22 years old and my family had this concert on VHS, I must have watched this one as well as the Rattle and Hum movie at least 100 times as a toddler. These songs shaped me as a human, to this day I still have them on repeat. It’s cool to find another person who was shaped by them too :)
It’s 2023 and I’m still scrolling UA-cam for live U2 concerts! These guys fill my heart with passion and energy every time. Bono is spectacular. Love these guys!
FULL CONCERT FULL EMOTIONS!!!♥
LAS VEGAS.
🫂
He used to fill my heart too. U2 was my favorite band growing up. Then I found out what he was about. I'm still sad🤕 and hurt. Love the music though. Can't help it
Every time I come back to this band it's like I never even left. Every tour is better than the last and yet still stands up to the test of time.
Same here, it's all about money and tax evasion 🥲 Even though I can't stop loving the music. @@teetsmagee5553
I am 59 🕺🏻 , been listening to the same four men for 40 years , still together
… still playing fantastic music 🙏,
I am going to be 60
Dec 5 th , my daughters just bought me concert tickets to see them live in Vegas dec 6th
The are the greatest band ever, and it is amazing to see them
LIVE IN CONCERT !!!
Can’t wait DEC 6th❤️ 🎉🙏
Did you enjoy it? 😎
Same here. Listening in 2024 becoming 62 in June and still rocking away
My name is Rafael. I am 56 year old. I have followed U2 since 1988 when I was 21 years old . Their music is essentially the soundtrack of my life. While is a little sad to see them age I just feel so grateful for the countless memories and uplifting messaging for decades. Thanks so much boys.
Can relate! Been listening since 1982. Play their songs on bass now., Sunday bloody Sunday, Vertigo... what not. Awesome band!!!
The Edge is unreal. Took me many years to appreciate just how great he is. He's not a shredder, he's the Edge, very unique!
Edge is the reason I didn't become another blues riff-type boring player. He showed how the guitar can be electrifyingly exciting and atmospheric without having to sound like you were born in Mississippi in 1930.
The Edge is sublime. He is the sound of U2. He plays guitar like Tré Cool plays drums. At an insane pace for hours. He must go through a handful of picks every show. No one plays like him or has any reason to. In my mind, most underrated lead guitarist.
PLEEAASSEE TELL ME you're joking?
@@SupraRy joking about what? The edge being a good guitarist? Why would I be joking about that? He's no Eddie Van halen, but that's ok, he's very unique.
I'm a shredder, but without Edge, I wouldn’t be playing at all.
i was listening when i was 8 years old, every day... when i had a dvd i played it every moment once and once again... this memory lives every day with me and my hearth
I did the same thing. This show is why I like music
Same here! First concert video I ever saw. I was 10 years old. Seeing Bono in front of the crowd during the opening of City of Blinding Lights still gives me chills...
The way Adam Clayton slaps that base though. I have always been a big Edge fan, but Adam just lends a uniqueness to the U2 sound that would be impossible to replicate without him. In their own way, each member of this most iconic band is what makes the sum of its parts such a massive success. I feel privileged to have seen them live in Cape Town in 2011.
This concert video was the spark that lit the fire for the love of music in my heart as a kid. I was young just 10 years old when my father put this DVD on in our apartment. Two years later my first concert was U2 360°. Seeing Bono in front of the crowd during the opening of City of Blinding Lights still gives me the chills... Love U2 ♥️
Still listening and watching this amazing performance from U2 in 2005 in 2023 🙏 ✝️ ❤
U2 was like a spirit to me. Kept me going when times were tough.
18 years later and this is still one of the best nights of my life.
I completely understand
U2 concert is like no other
This was my first U2 concert, wow what a great concert it was!
Original of The Species, the most forgotten and underrated U2 song ever.
Winter......
Yep, with “If God Will Send His Angels” right behind
Their last great song!
Probably with zooropa, if your wear that velvet dress, dirty day and tomorrow. Hope that one day they play tomorrow
Vertigo , the most forgotten and underrated U2 song ever , elevation , city of blinding lights and electrical storm ! These songs are timeless !
We had a dvd of Boston concert at home. I was watching every morning before school dreaming about being on such concert. Then, we got tickets to Polish Chorzow and I was there just next to the stage in this tour with my brother and best friends. We were 18 and having our time of life. Still got chills.. U2 forever!
Goosebumps how great this tour was. First big concert as a teenager and they played all the songs I listened to for years going trough u2s discography. I remember I was floating for 3 days just because of the energy. ⚡
I'm not the biggest U2 fan, but saw this tour in DC and it's still one of my favorite concerts.
This was a great tour. But since then the tours havent been that great. 360, inocence, josha etc not that good
THE GREATEST BAND TO EVER EXIST PERIOD!!!!
bruce called, he'd like to debate the point.
No greatest whatever.
Does not exist in this world.
Sorry buddy.
please be quiet they suck
ACHTUNG Baby could have easily bien published last night, and would be Up to date......
They predicted the DOWNFALL of Europe 30 years ago.
And is happening right now.
They made It MUSIC.
A SYMPHONY!!!
SHEER BLISS!!
(Brian Eno & DanielLamois. Thank You)

Can't compare U2 with any other Big Bang.
The rest of Big banda play always same path. Safe.
U2 has created someimes puré crap, but have risked far more, and become a "3 STAR MICHELIN" Band.
I hold that with all Respect for others. But I feel True.
LOVE BLESS
Bass guitar sounds really really powerful during An Cat Dubh and Into the Heart, at the end Mr. Adam and Mr Evans shaking hands saying: good job, well done!!!
Also the bass attack in where the streets have no name is goosebumps
This concert was the first time I ever heard _The Electric Co._ I was in a dark state of mind at the time, so Edge’s frantic guitar and Bono’s passionate singing hit me deep down inside; the song sounded like how I felt. And when Bono belted out _Bullet with Butterfly Wings_ at the end with the intensity every singer should bring to a performance, I felt all the negative energy that had festered inside being purged from my psyche. I still get chills when I hear _The Electric Co._ all these years later, whiter it's the original recording from _Boy,_ this performance, or any other concert.
must have been insane ! thank you for sharing your story 🪩
@@noPhiltr Yeah, it was.
Did you ever heard the version of Red Rocks '83? Very powerful, almost hardrock.
@@hanverhoeven8661 I sure did; that one is chills-inducing for sure, a sensation heightened by Bono climbing on top of the stage. Edge said Bono scared the hell out of him doing that. Same with the US Festival performance where Bono climbs the rigging.
Rock at its very highest level, amazing performance by the entire band!
U2 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 FOREVER

By the time I was 3 or 4 years old I knew about Bono and u2. Me and my sister had this on a recorded on the cable box for many years. We had a stereo, me and my sister would blast this concert and rock out to u2. This show in particular is very nostalgic to me.
I just love watching these guys. They inspire me, make me laugh, & in general uplift my spirits. A lot of these songs I have good memories of singing these in my bathroom in chgo. in my bathroom w/just a tape player & singing harmonies w/them & making dance routines. It was so fun then, & its fun hearing their earlier songs. I love watching Edge & hearing him sing w/Bono. I love it. 9-20-21
So so so so good. I've seen them five times and they never fail to deliver. Even on UA-cam I'm just moved. U2 forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
U2 is my oldest love in music. Bono's voice, Edge's great sound and guitar playing and the solid and original spine of the band with Larry and Adam who are always forgotten... Juts one of the best bands still active that never changed a band member and that was never afraid to take chances. I would love your input on our last video. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me : ua-cam.com/video/G4c3CXjb6Mg/v-deo.html
ive never seen them.
It´s being 16 years since they were in México touring this Vertigo Tour. I attended this concert in Monterrey, México with a friend . We both still share tears of emotion recalling this song City of Blinding Lights live. The best feeling of all times. We have had the dream of attending one of their concerts since the decade of the 90's and in 2006 the dream come true. We couldn't believe at that moment, with this song, we where there. This concert, this Band enhance our friendship. Living this exprerience toghether was almost like participate in a musical and sacramental ceremony.
Can’t tell you how much I want to go to one of their concerts. I was born too late and I don’t know when they’ll start touring again. I really hope they do because I want to go SO bad
I’ve been to 3 they were all amazing!!! There’s a rumoured tour for either 2023/24 how old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 15
@@mysticedge4 me as well. I really hope so!
@MysticEdge4 @Addison You both give an old person hope.
@@JamesFoxFiles if you want some more hope I’m in a band making music like U2
Bono…”Surrender”…..New York City…April and May 2023. Check it out.
I was 15 years old when this came out, and it was my first concert that I had ever seen with my own eyes, and I absolutely fell in love. They filled the entire sound space of my teen years and I was fortunate enough to go to two of their concerts one in Vancouver in 2010 and the other in Dublin in 2015 while the Paris terrorist attacks were happening, (thankfully nothing bad happened as I was passing through, it was very safe) it was a worthwhile experience. I’m so happy that I got to see this concert again on UA-cam and remember all the beautiful memories ✨❤
What a show! What a powerful statement!! Couldn't walk away I didn't want to miss one moment!!!
Wow I fell in love with U2 in 80's in Chicago Illinois after hearing an interview with them on American radio & they were singing in studio & I taped it on cassette at that time, I wish I still had it bc I had so much fun singing with them & listening to them. They made my life so delightful & my neighbors thought I had a house full of company but it was only me & radio!!! Lmao. I grew up with most of these songs & it was amazing. I felt like U2 was in my apartment!!! It was so fun!!!! Ty guys & ty for uploading this it sounds so good in headphones
La mejor banda de todos los tiempos que Good bless U2 forever...like si lo escuhas en el 2020...
👍
Wow, I have so much to say about them💖💖💖, I have no idea where to start!
I am a 16 year old girl and I loveeeeee U2💜💜, for 6 months now I hear their songs everyday all the time!!
Before that I always knew they existed because my mom loves the 80’s music, but I never understood why they are so special!
I started with 5 songs in my playlist😂, by that time I only began to actually understand why their music is so extraordinary and important to everyone and myself! Now I have about 50 songs in my playlists and I know each one of them by heart 💖, I love Bono’s voice and I find so much meaning in each song ! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
During those days the situation in my country is not easy, for 7 months people are protesting and trying to defend human rights and the idea of democracy and liberty!
I try to protest whenever I can because those ideas and my country are so important to me!🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I am sure that this is one of the reasons why I feel so connected to their music.💙
during this period U2 has always been one of the places I can escape to, and always makes me feel better🫶🏻🫶🏻.
The fact that I haven’t met any other teenagers who love or even know U2 makes me really sad😢, because I really believe that anyone can learn something from their songs!!!!!
Now I am suppose to see them live at the msg sphere in Las Vegas😱😱😱😱🤩🤩🤩🤩, and I really hope I would💖💖💖.
Love my favourite band ❤️ 👉🏻
Love U2❤️❤️❤️
😂😂😂😂😂😂
My dad brought me to this show on my birthday. I was 13 and it was my first show ever and was a total u2 freak. Now and forever✨

I've been to 200-300 live concerts all the way back to 1972, and U2 is still on the top of my mountain. I'll see them twice this year for the Joshua Tree, but the 360Tour was the best damn show in my life, period!
I beat you bro, more concerts but agree with you to a certain level. This tour, top 10. Peace on.
YES!!!!! :)
Agree 360 was the best
That makes my 4 times like a non event. Mind you,i live in Australia and they tend to do 3 or 4 tours of the united states and europe before that come out here. But i saying that, the four times i have seen U2 live in concert have been the fojr best nights of my life. I hope we havent seen them for the last time.
You're sooo lucky!!
U2 is the best band of all time ♥️
This was my first U2 experience. It was an emotional rollercoaster. To say the least. I never sang so hard in my life. To anyone that has never seen them, do it. Pay whatever and go. You won't regret it.
I would but now they are quite old and they cannot perform as they were used to when they were at their peak like here, and I feel that there is not a better show that this one in Chicago and the one in San Siro,Milan are the best performance they did
@@francescorignanese3447 Popmart 1997 was the best!

I fell in love with this performance in 2005 and i'm still amazed in 2016

Oh yeah thanks for posting the complete, uninterrupted live tour! Now I can jam in the nightshift!
What an incredible lineup! Opening with City of blinding lights, Vertigo and Elevation was intense. The progression with Elevation with crowd involvement was awe inspiring. And bringing the kid up on stage. Just wow! U2 definitely brought their A-game for this one. And I'm not even half way through...
"Pride (In the Name of Love)", one of the greatest rock anthems ever written. Still.
Feeling like this song lifts everything in my spirit. Way better than Prozac. Love the intro, lyric and sound from U2❤
Your music - reaching beyond the many who feel broken. Thank you for the healing light***
Year 2023 still watching, my mother introduced me to U2 when I was younger and never stopped exploring their music.
as an ‘02 baby watching this made me cry bringing me back to times. incredible performers of beautiful music 💐♥️
One of the best concerts. My first dvd bought in highschool in 2005
Man I really enjoy this concert who they mix old school song to the new ones...
U2 are a truly amazing band, period.
I was there and remember just being so damn happy to see Electric Co live.
As a veteran I love the dedication of Running To Stand Still.
Yep, me too. But also still runnin, i'm still runnin... suffer the needle chill.
The version of 'Is That All/Electric Co.' here is one of the top performances of the song in U2's career. Edge's guitar tone is awesome - and the segue into 'An Cat Dubh/Into the Heart' is just perfect.
Man, I wanted to comment exactly the same songs! So glad they played so old stuff - An Cat Dubh is a masterpiece!
Thank you David. This band has been my inspiration.... for years
The best group on this planet ❤
