    Note: USA Hockey goalie gear limits say nothing regarding the depth of your pocket or T so if you play under USA Hockey rules, go right ahead replacing your pocket

      I checked as well yesterday and floated mine using one of Wayne's older video's on how to re lace. Pretty slick.

    Anyone "un-anchor" a Brian's Gnetik 8.0? Need to float the double T for it. Looks like its laced into the palm in 2 places. Can't find any info on this.

    Love your stuff man. Would be cool if you continued this type of content with other variable aspects, benefits etc of different goalie equipment like paddle length/stick curve, leg channel breakdown, single break vs double break pads, etc. Could be helpful for new goalies or parents of goalies

    I've been thinking about trying floating T when I get to play ball hockey with my friends. Congratulations to 10 000 subscribers, I 'm a bit sad I couldn't congratulate you live on stream, but I was sleeping. Keep being awesome.

    Just re-laced my son’s INT G4...what a pain! Can’t wait for your vid to come out so I can do it better! BTW...just put some skateable tiles in his room since rinks are down...he is a 2nd year goalie about to turn 15...cost about as much as a good week long clinic so we think it is worth it...thanks for the vids during this tough time...you are totally awesome!

    There is no current ban in the NHL about using a floating T.

    • @goaliejoe5923
      @goaliejoe5923 4 роки тому

      noahjay2002 not on floating ts specifically but by doing it most senior sized gloves will exceed the glove size limits set by the NHL. Otherwise a lot of guys would have one

      @@goaliejoe5923 Incorrect, they dont want one even in its minimalist form because its grossly disadvantaged for ease of puck movement and clarity of puck tracking

    Hey #VOGoalie just found you your channel yesterday. I have a question. I haven't played competively in about 20 years and have been on the ice once about 9 years ago. I want to get back on the ice and play. I am nervous because its been so long and I am currently older, not great shape, heavier but working on it. Any advice, tips??? Thank You

    Hey VOGoalie love ur videos!!! I know you have a tutorial for the floating T, but I was wondering if you gonna do another one with the G4. I have a G4 as well but I'm a little reluctant doing a floating T with ur video with the black trapper.

    Thanks for the information, great job. I like the idea of it but I think the Warrior single T pocket is just right on my glove, deeper than any other glove I've owned. I'd hate to mess with such a nice piece of equipment. You never know, I might bite on some other mod. Thanks for keeping us informed down here in Scituate.

    I have a factory mad glove with a floating T. It's great. But its hard for me to tell what the benefit of floating T, skate lace pocket, & catch angle are individually because its got all those. It also closes amazingly.

    Thank for all the great content! I’ve been wanting to skate lace my G4 pro double T since I got it but unlike other gloves I’ve owned it looks challenging to say the least. Can’t wait for you video on re-lacing your G4

    You shouldnt modify a pocket to this backwards thanking floating T. Its an inherent flaw in the Warrior catcher that pop outs happen to their models, too much detail to share why in that design right now. As for skate lace, there isnt a shred of data proven it also ensures less pop out, but visually, eyes on the puck after a catch or a an on-ice covering of a scramble is next to none with skatelace vs a much much clearer view through nylon. I dont understand why people would want those mods of sloppyness in both looks, bulk and performance?
