To say this team is a “failed super team” is a bit iffy. The expectations for 2016 was around what they accomplished for that season considering the teams situation. If you go back and watch the spurs/thunder series, the spurs were incredibly competitive against the Thunder, who took the best regular season team ever to 7 games in the WCF. The core of this team was the absolute biggest threat to the KD warriors the following year, and honestly, go watch how dominant they were over the warriors in 2017 up until the second kawhi got hurt. The biggest failure that the spurs had in the past 20 years is that the front office was unable to resolve their inner conflicts with Kawhi.

Could you fix the 2012-13 season and help fix Kobe’s final playoff run. He technically was still under contract with the lakers but his injury petty much ended the Kobe we knew.
