Thank you for digging in further about symptoms and "hindsight" it will be absolutely helpful for people to hear these and get in earlier to see their doctors. RIP Sgt.
I almost feel like we need a video on how to advocate for yourself. How to communicate with the nurses and doctors so you don't ruin you epic profile and they try to link your symptoms as a mental illness. Being young with pancreatic cancer symptoms gets dismiss so fast and early stages of pancreatic cancer don't show in CT scans or ultrasounds. Even MRI cause so many people miss to check the fine details. Waiting for appointment, waiting for blood work after blood work and knowing that you could have a growing tumour growing by the week is pretty scary. If I end up having this murder cancer, a lot of doctor and nurses failed to catch it early no matter how hard I tried to push them to the right direction without sounding crazy. Wish me luck in the next 2 weeks. I'll contact you if I end up having it.
Hi Juan, how are you .. I understand from the story that you have symptoms ( Pancreatic cancer) and the doctor's didn't take it seriously? I also going through the same scenario... and when i read about it's needed to learn how to advocate for yourself and finding tools and support for it...because , yes, if you're young and informed and also reconize all your symptoms while you're reseaching your symptoms and discuss is with the doctor the reaction is if your just overanxious or hypogondric. What a battle you have to fight only to be heard and taking seriously by most doctors. I know everyhing about it...still in the proces after a ct that didn't show anything. The doctor told me she thinks i'am better off talking to a psychiatrist. But no...i know my body... It's a hard road... wishing you all the best and stay strong, never let anyone else, doctor or not, tells you you're fine and healthy... it's not their body but yours. You know it best, don't doubt that. Will you let my know about you're situation ? All the best!!

Sucks that this guy or anyone has to go through this any of this. Man I hope he pulls through as a fellow NC resident
