You’re so awesome! I’m loving all the content you’re posting. I used to go to Disneyland about every other year. I’m now a young 74 with mobility issues and can’t go there. When I watch your videos and I go back in time to some of my favorite memories. So much has changed. I was 5 years old the first time I went. That was in 1955 when it first opened. I loved pirates of the Caribbean and haunted mansion. Through your videos I have even been on rides that didn’t exist while I was still going. Your kind words at the end are very special to me. I know you’re talking to me because I can feel it in my heart. There’s a special place in heaven for a person like you. 😊😊😊
I worked on the castle...I replaced 3 of many doors on the roof/castle. Including the one at the top.of the castle on the back side facing fantasyland.
Walking through the castle is a must do for my family. My wedding was Sleeping Beauty themed, and my wife and I then went to Disneyland for our honeymoon and walked the through the castle as newlyweds. We were so saddened when they closed it after 2001, but are very happy that it is back (even though we aren't together anymore). The 1977 version was full of dolls that were posed in the windows and not animated frames like now. You can still see the pictures of the 1977 version pretty easily online.
I used to love hearing Jimney Cricket singing "When You Wish Upon A Star" as you passed through the castle gates, magical. I always go through this attraction and reminds me of the first movie I went to see, Sleeping Beauty, age 4.
I'll be honest: the subject wasn't too interesting to me, but i wanted to be sure that UA-cam counted my view, so i fast forwarded to the end so that it would give you credit for the view. I didn't realize how much i needed your affirmation. We are going through a super complex issue in the extended family involving the subject that no family ever thinks that their kids will have to face, and I'm a big pile of "should have" and "how did i miss it" and "I could have done something" and I really am beating myself silly. This isn't the first time your positive affirmations have found me in a dark place and been a bright spot. I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank you for what you do.
Me! One reason I love watching your videos is it gives me a chance to see all of the great details that go into making Disneyland. Thank you for all that you do.
Me! I remember the 1977 version during my childhood in the 90's. What sticks out in my memory the most is the scene where Aurora is hypnotized by Maleficent with the ball of light swinging back and forth.
Since my 1st visit in 1966 (age 4), I have loved the SBC walk-thru. I used to love the adventure and bounding up & down the stairs. Now, I take them at a more leisurely pace! 🤣 Thanks Chris 💕
My family discovered the walk through in 2013. I'm so glad I saw it because I'm disabled now. Thank you for pointing out options for people with mobility issues.
I can still hear the owl at the top of the castle from the OG walkthrough... "boo boo boo boo boo boop." It was the meet up spot for my high school/college girlfriend when she moved to Long Beach.
Sadly, as many times that I've been to Disneyland over the Decades, I've missed this attraction! When my kids were young, I'd run around the Park training for marathons. With grandkids, I may not make the stairs. Thank you for showing the accessable room!
When I was about 5 in about 1962 we went to Disneyland for the first time. We walked through that and it scared me so bad we didn’t go back to Disneyland for years!😂
The one that scared me was Babes in Toyland. The trees chased me and terrified until I saw that one had Tennis Shoes on. Then I was ok. Costumes have advanced since then. LOL
my daughter always liked it because the windows were at a children's level. they used to be dioramas with the beautiful music from the film in the background. it looks very special now updated, tho I haven't been in person to see this version.thank you for the tour!
ME! I have been going to Disneyland since I was 2 I am now 68 there is something special about that attraction I think. I had no idea people who aren’t able to walk the stairs could watch it that’s amazing!! Thank you as always Chris!!! ❤
Thank you. The Sleeping Beauty walk through has always been one of my favorite. I was so sad when it was closed, but now it is better than before. I am glad you highlighted this attraction, but it will be busier now.
I've always loved the Sleeping Beauty walk-thru. I've really enjoyed showing it to my friends & family that were unaware of it! Now that my knees & hips are wracked with arthritis I will try out the accessible room, which I was unaware of! So thank you for sharing! Love & God bless 💜🙏🤟😍
Sleeping Beauty was actually the first attraction I thought of as a possible contender. I've been through it countless times. Didn't realize it had been shut down for years & thought I just had unfortunate timing of going to Disneyland when it was closed for annual maintenance. Hopefully, Disney does not make such a foolish mistake again.
I've taken my kids through this walkthrough many times, I was sure you were going to say the least popular attraction was something like the Frontierland shooting gallery. I do appreciate that there is never a line and these vignettes are so high quality when compared to other parks with similar attractions.
5 yrs ago (in Sept 2019) at 71 yrs old I went to Disneyland for the very FIRST TIME!!! I was booked for a hip replacement for Nov, so my family rented a mobility scooter for me and I had the best time! My family didn't do the castle because they didn't want me to feel left out ... but now that you've pointed out that lovely accessible area, even though my mobility is better, I will still be renting a scooter to keep up with the family - and we'll ALL definitely visit Sleeping Beauty's Castle when we come again in Feb '25 (to celebrate my 77th b'day, and my g'daughters 22nd b'day) 🎉🥳 God bless you sir 🙏 - your kind words at the end are needed and appreciated by many. ps: any Disneyland / CA videos made for people with accessible needs (mobility scooter, wheelchair, etc) are always most welcome. I'm now going to look for those 😀 🛵
Disneyland has done a good job on making their rides accessible, but Some are easier than others. Finding Nemo has a room similar to the Castle. Jungle Cruise and Small World have dedicated boats with platforms that wheelchairs and scooters drive onto if one cannot transfer. Little Mermaid has a dedicated omnimover for wheel chairs. I think Haunted Mansion has something similar, but have not personally seen it. The Train has platforms at the Tommorland and New Orleans Square/Frontierland stations. Some rides will only be accessible if you can transfer from the scooter to a specially adapted seat on the ride. The only attractions that come to mind where accessibility will be an issue are parts of Tom Sawyer’s Island, parts of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, and The Sailing Ship Columbia.
Thank you so much for featuring the room for people that have mobility issues. It should be pointed out more (especially from Disneyland UA-camrs). It was only a few years ago that I discovered it. What you forgot to show (probably because others were in there) is the Royal chair/bench you sit in while watching the movie. I feel like a queen sitting in the grand chair. I didn’t know about the keyholes. Can’t wait until my next trip to look through them . Thank you again, Chris, for all the secrets you share in your videos. I’ve been a huge Disney fan all my life of 64 years and I’m always thrilled to learn something new. Your channel is amazing. YOU are amazing. 💜🎃👻
I've been in it but didn't really notice all the details. Now I'm excited to go again and see all the goodies you pointed out. Great idea for a video. What are some other undervalued rides?
💗 From what I remember from 1964, as we got near the castle, dad said, "that's for special guests only," or, "we'll come back to that," or, "we have to get 'somewhere else' in order to catch the ride," and, we never went back. 😢
Me! It's one of my favorite nostalgic places. I had no idea a character shows in that little cell window, but I did get a goon to pop up on me in there. The other one with the pacing spear also has a pop-up goon. I think you have to get super close to the glass to get it to work. It can be tricky, but I’ve seen it scare people really bad.
Me. Been through the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough several time. It’s great to get away from the crowds for a while. Probably go through it every few visits. Thanks for the great videos.
This was really cool. We did it on our last trip to Disneyland. We wouldn't have even known about it if I didn't watch your channel! I wonder if it's the "least popular" or more that it's the "least known" tho...
Aloha, Chris. Done the walk through but learned a few things from your video which is no surprise as I ALWAYS learn things from your video. Thank you! QUESTION: Chris, is there any history or secrets regarding the license numbers on the license plates as “teeth” on the Witch car under the Cars Land’s Happy-Haul-O-Ween sign in DCA? Just wondering. Happy Halloween! Aloha.
I was at Disneyland once in 2001 (March) to see the brand new DCA - but of course we also went to Disneyland- the person who took me didn’t tell me in advance what was in the castle he just led me in that small unassuming doorway and up the stairs - so always thought that was such a neat hidden gem. Not promoted much just something to be discovered and enjoyed
They found all the cats in the castle when they were modeling it and that's when they started taking care of them!! 😊 🐈⬛ obviously after relocating them.
I would have guessed King Arthur Carousel but I know you did that one already. Pinocchio? I'll find out. Well as soon as you said you are looking at it, it all clicked. It awesome, and what other time do you get to go inside a Disney Castle. I really want secrets revealed for Rise and Smugglers Run. I BEEN WAITING FOR THOSE.
Hey, Chris, I have an idea for obscure kind of video, something like Mary Blair's mosaic. In Tomorrowland ,the leftover area of the fantasyland skyway, the foundation that you can still find pieces of , the Monsanto house of the future, the Dominguez tree next to jungle cruise. The oldest tree in Disneyland that's not on Storybookland. Some odd stuff, that some may not know about. Great video as always!
I went to Disneyland for the first time recently, and I did the castle walkthrough 😊. It was worth checking out! The first window in the corridor of goons has a guard that pops out sometimes, I saw him! I also touched the doorknob on the next door and it knocked back from the other side and made me jump lol
Me! 👋🏼 I also love the Main Street magical windows- but they were not working during my last 2 visits. I’d live to see you do a showcase of the beautiful windows. Thanks for your awesome Disney content and wonderful words of encouragement!
Hilarious story I read about Walt and castle before any attraction. It was full of feral cats. He went back there with someone wearing a white suit. All of a sudden, the suit turned gray. Fleas! They both darted out, trying to get past the crowds without sharing their cargo. They made it to wardrobe so they could shower and change. Walt ensured the cats were removed, cleaned and adopted.
I knew you were talking about that ride! Yes, I've been through it but one of the older versions. So what is the 2nd least popular ride? I always enjoy and appreciate your positive messages
My guess is the firehouse next to city hall! But, you’re walking right by it, so…Sleeping Beauty’s castle Walk through? I never knew about the stairless option - that’s great! On my last trip in September, I slipped into the walk-through about 10 minutes after midnight!
Question. Me and my children want to go to Disneworld for vacation but don't know wich month to go to either july or August and for how long one week or two weeks, thanks
I never knew that there was a walk through. Next visit I will make sure I go through the Castle. BTW am I the only one who cries every time you talk to us. Lol
I had no idea it was there! I love Sleeping Beauty and had a chuckle over your pronunciation of King Stefan. Nothing to worry about, but I’ve watched it so many times. Do they have something like this in WDW?
ME! I’ve been going through this attraction since I was a little girl way back in 1993. Looking at this video I can tell there is some improvements since the last time I’ve walked through.
In the first window in the goons hallway a goon jumps out and jump scares you. I wasn’t expecting it and i yelled and jumped back 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅I was hoping you would show him 🤣🤣🤣 wanted to have that surprise scary feeling again
Second genration here of going into the Sleeping Beauty Castle and loved it. Now the 4th generation can see this. Will be going to Disneyland next month and can't wait. I want to in 2025 for my birthday in July. Yep! Disneyland and I are the same age.

my Father help work on the inside of the castle!!
You may want to check those dates. Disneyland was constructed over a period of one year: 1954 to 1955. The castle didn’t exist at all in 51 or 52 :(
My family discovered the walk through in 2013. I'm so glad I saw it because I'm disabled now. Thank you for pointing out options for people with mobility issues.
Me!!! My little loves to walk through this every once in a while and she makes me read the story as she looks at each of the dioramas.
I can still hear the owl at the top of the castle from the OG walkthrough... "boo boo boo boo boo boop." It was the meet up spot for my high school/college girlfriend when she moved to Long Beach.

This is one of my favorite spots to slowly stroll through. A Disney classic ✨✨
ME ME ME......first walked through at the age of 20 in 1987. Everything was THE MOST MAGICAL!! Chris Provost, I am WEEPING in my magical memories.

Great vid and info on this attraction Chris👍
It was great getting to meet you that day!!
Least popular?! My heart💔. On one of my daughter's first visits, we got to "hang out" with Aurora IN HER CASTLE! Disney magic at its best.
I took my daughter for the first time this year - this was one of her favorite attractions!
So glad you did a walk through. Such a great part of the park/history.
Going for the first time in December! Aurora is my favorite so I cannot wait to see this in person!
I didnt know lol wow thanks for Sharing this. You are Awesome
I love the walk through! Such a must every time
Sleeping Beauty’s castle? I love it and go in whenever I go to Disneyland! 1:52
I love the walk through! Feels like a hidden secret. And I love that about it
Always loved it. Been through both versions.
Hi Chris good vlog and thank you and keep up the good you do love jarl and you are the best love jarl ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

3:15 One family was like "This is it, let's go in" The second family was like, "Hey, is that an attraction?"
Great video, Chris! LOVE that attraction. 😃
Thank you for the awesome video! Just wondering, are the steps for the castle walkthrough steep?
I don’t think they are steep it’s just dark
Meeee! it’s so cool! i didn’t know about the accessibility room though. thank you 🙏
Kid screaming outside of a gift shop = Happiest Place on Earth. 😂
Me!!
I love it. One of my mom’s favorite. We walked through every time we visited.
That's one of our favorites! Awesome video
I've been in it but didn't really notice all the details. Now I'm excited to go again and see all the goodies you pointed out. Great idea for a video. What are some other undervalued rides?
I love the castle walk through!
Thank you, I like how you take the time to show folks another treasure that we should keep in Disney
this one was fantastic! I love sleeping beauty's walk thru. Thank you for what you do!😊

Love your videos, this one’s a bit of a stretch though!
I love walking through the castle. First thing I do when I’m there is visit the castle:)
Me! It's one of my favorite nostalgic places. I had no idea a character shows in that little cell window, but I did get a goon to pop up on me in there. Me. I really loved the walkthrough when I was young and was heartbroken when they closed it. So when it reopened it I was so happy.
This is a must see for me, it’s so magical!❤❤❤❤
Me! Loved it. Thought for sure you meant the petrified tree. LOL.
A OTHER GOOD ONE CHRIS,THANK YOU LOVE TOO YOUR FAMILY XX
Me, but now I'm older and have mobility issues. I can no longer climb those stairs. I really enjoyed this video and felt as if I was there with you. 🥰
I didn’t know!
We did this on our recent trip.
It was enjoyable and relaxing.
Me! Never miss this whenever we go.
This was really cool. We did it on our last trip to Disneyland. We wouldn't have even known about it if I didn't watch your channel!
I wonder if it's the "least popular" or more that it's the "least known" tho...
Such great memories walking through the castle attraction. Still my daughter’s favorite (now 20yrs)
Aloha, Chris. Done the walk through but learned a few things from your video which is no surprise as I ALWAYS learn things from your video. Thank you!

Hey, that's my favorite hiding place.... 😂
Me. I love to walk through this when I go. I look forward to doing it again next time I'm there.
We actually enjoy walking through that attraction!! My teenager actually enjoys it!
I was at Disneyland once in 2001 (March) to see the brand new DCA - but of course we also went to Disneyland- the person who took me didn’t tell me in advance what was in the castle he just led me in that small unassuming doorway and up the stairs - so always thought that was such a neat hidden gem. They found all the cats in the castle when they were modeling it and that's when they started taking care of them!! 😊 🐈⬛ obviously after relocating them.
I been through there a few times. The castle is where the feral cats made their home before being moved to make room for the attraction.
Commenting early! Gotta be the Sleeping Beauty walk, right?
I would have guessed King Arthur Carousel but I know you did that one already. Pinocchio? I'll find out. Well as soon as you said you are looking at it, it all clicked. It awesome, and what other time do you get to go inside a Disney Castle. I really want secrets revealed for Rise and Smugglers Run. I BEEN WAITING FOR THOSE.
Sleeping Beauty Castle walk through didn’t even realized it was there until after 10th visit. lol.
Me! But not for years, thank you for the history and reminder! 🤗
Glad I could bring back some nostalgia!
Me! it's been several years since I was in the castle, but I'll; go again next time. Thanks Chris
Your closing message always makes me cry…. I really need to hear what you have to say!!!!
My daughters( 3 and 6) always have to stop at the castle ❤❤❤ ❤❤
just started watching the video......and REALLY....least popular??? THIS IS DISNEYLAND!! The happiest place EVER!!! Every attration IS MAGIC!!!!!
I'm surprised you missed the jump scare on the third door in the Corridor of Goons. It's my kids' favorite part!
Me! 👋🏼
I also love the Main Street magical windows- but they were not working during my last 2 visits. I’d live to see you do a showcase of the beautiful windows. Thanks for your awesome Disney content and wonderful words of encouragement!

I never knew about the stairless option - that’s great! On my last trip in September, I slipped into the walk-through about 10 minutes after midnight!
Me! I have only been to DL twice but I knew about this walk through and love it!
Me! Everytime we go. Hope to run into you on one of our visits from the PNW. Thanks for everything you do!
Me! And I loooove it! I can't do stairs right now, so I'll visit the disabled one soon
One of the best things in the park! A great attraction.
ME! I’ve been going through this attraction since I was a little girl way back in 1993. Looking at this video I can tell there is some improvements since the last time I’ve walked through.
Oh my gosh, do you count stairs? I ALWAYS do… every stairway, every time!! 🤣🤣
I love this attraction. I like that it feels like"old" Disneyland.
My daughter is named Aurora so we always go through it. I def love it and so dose my little princess
My guess? Lincoln 🤔
In the first window in the goons hallway a goon jumps out and jump scares you. I wasn’t expecting it and i yelled and jumped back 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅I was hoping you would show him 🤣🤣🤣 wanted to have that surprise scary feeling again
