i remember in jjk when hanami yelled “domain expansion: weapon wipe!” and completely destroyed gojo in their battle, as he couldnt use his sunken swords flying pheonix to kill them.
After having a PvP session with someone else, I actually like the dodge reflex nerf now. PvP is much more fun now. Apart from warriors dealing 500+ damage.
@@arceyplayz I actually find PvP incredibly less fun now than compared to before the change, the game just feels awfully slow now and combined with the fact that the change applied even _outside_ combat is just incredibly stupid I think
Hilariously, I didn't even think the Luck 3 helped me out whatsoever. For all the grinding I did over those few days, I only got two of my old weapons back, and one of them was because one of my friends gave me their spare sunken sword. I had better drop rates without it sadly.
As someone who cosplays Kenjaku in AO, I've already finished extracting King Calvus' Technique, This is the world of the future. It's starting once again, the Golden Age of Magic, the ArcaneAdventurheian era will now return.
I got my scims back with grinding, got all maria drops, got 2 capes, 1 crown and 1 triasta from the calvus and got 2 acronomies from underwater chests and 1 sunken warrior leggings. I would say I did not made the most of it, but made some of it so I am kinda alright rn, the economy of AO is currently dead too.
Yeah, i lost my Dense Rapier, Bursting Scimitars of Storm, Strong Greenwish Cultist Staff, and a majority of my Weapons and i also lost 2 or 3 Vindicators but i still have 1 Vindicator. I actually didnt do anything with the Luck Boost because it wasnt Modivated to Fish because i was just lazy to do that. But i wasnt that Devastated when i saw the Majority of my weapons gone.
I am not getting my sunken sword back anytime soon because fishing for hours ain't appealing and I don't wanna dump limiteds into getting my weapon back
the 1 thing i absolutely hate about this is that the dev just kinda said "oh well shit happens i guess, lets compensate with a slight luck boost instead of trying to fix it"

I lost my entire warrior build, dense vindi, dense sunken sword, and dense silent blades, along with my tempered siren bow, and my dense sunken staff, i have only one more sunken sword left, its modified with ardent and since i played on the update time, unequipping it now would mean its loss, and about the luck 3, as soon as i realised that i lost so much stuff, i was mostly afraid to launch this game again and i didn't really play anymore
This update just shows how overhyping and incompetence can kill the motivation your audience has. The entire update was hyped to hell and back about how this was going to be the revival of AO, and that the story was FINALLY continuing after a whole YEAR of waiting. New stats, new items, and so much more, and what do we get? A half-baked "update" (which I'd say would just have enough content as a PATCH) which only has 20 minutes of story and barely anything to do. We get an unfair boss fight, multiple game breaking bugs at launch, 5 islands with 3 of them not having anything to do. (Remember in the QNA stream that vetex said Sameria was about as big as Magius? That was a lie.) And, worst of all, MORE GRINDING. Grinding is a huge issue in AO, which after this wipe has pretty much killed the entire incentive to do so, since it has made us lose trust in how they handle their system. All of our items could be wiped tomorrow, a week from now, or a year from now, it's hard to tell with how incompetent the team is. It was speculated for a long time that the "testers" don't really test anything, and are just Vetex's friend group, and after this update has PROVED they don't do testing with main game, it pretty much seals the deal with that. Overall, this update was just a massive punch in the face for us long time players that had faith in Vetex, and it feels like such a betrayal. I don't have that much hope for monthly updates if this was all they could do in four months, but I guess only time will tell.

Yes, it is a shame, but what would have been better is if he took a break during the time he had depression and spent time with his family and loved ones, not working on a lego game that caused it to be rushed. Also, you went over my point that until now, they DIDN'T test in the main game while transferring stuff from the test universe. That's roblox development 101: ALWAYS TEST. It doesn't matter how minimal or small it is, if there is one small change in the code you must always see if it works. That's just how coding a game works. Obviously transferring data from test game to main game isn't gonna always work yet they've still been doing that until this very moment 😭

To be fair they should restore the weapons u don't have in ur inventory but u have equipped visually in ur character and hotbar(like ur sunken sword not being in ur inv but u can use it and ave it in ur hotbar)
30 mins before the update I got a first sunken sword, 30 mins after I don't got a sunken sword and lost 30+ boss drop weapons. Grinded fishing all through the perma luck 3 and manage to get it back on the last day + like 6 other sunken armor
i was lucky and was at work when the update came out, so I didn't get back home in time to lose my stuff. However, I had a friend who lost quite a bit, though I was able to quickly get back most of his stuff minus a couple dark sea enchantments. I wish he could roll back this stuff, as it's not fair at all that the only compensation he could give was luck 3 for a few days. If it was luck 5 then fair, but it should have been luck 3 for 2 weeks.
I got through the story in 10 minutes and told myself that I will instead return to the game when we get a fair amount more or when they release spirit weapons so I had no motivation whatsoever to make use of the luck 3

most i got from the luck 3 was a billion golden scales, best i can ask for honestly, as someone who has been in like 4 luck parties and still hasnt fished any sunken gear lol least i play warlock so its not the end of the world that i cant fish sunkens cause of my irl luck being bad, but my issue is the friggin balancing team the balancing team did not cook nerfing dodge reflex to 1 cause it makes traversal alot slower, having to make ground contact every time i want to use the dodge reflex to move faster or reposition. really just slows down combat more than necessary. im fine with the agility nerf but the dodge reflex nerf is too much

I lost 5 Sunken Swords, 2 Sunken Staffs and many boss drop weapons, including atlantean weapons and siren bows. I didn't managed to get ANY of them back during the Luck 3 compensation. I lost a lot of value sitting in my inventory, but I fortunately have 12 acrimonies if I ever need anything.
Luckily i logged on like 11 hours after the update so i lost nothing (not that i had anything particularly rare) Bye particularly rare i mean no sunkens or atlantean or siren bow

i managed to get more from this update than i lost because of the luck 3
but it wasn't without opening thousands of diving spot chests

in hardcore pvp 2 dodge reflex was insane, I agree out of combat it should be 2 but 1 whilei n combat is fine

I didn't managed to get ANY of them back during the Luck 3 compensation. I lost a lot of value sitting in my inventory, but I fortunately have 12 acrimonies if I ever need anything.
too bad acrimonies got shat on because vetex gave everyone a free stat reset
good thing I waited 3 days before playing the update just in case if anything goes wrong (I'm a mage and has absolutely nothing valuable on me)

@@logankrause4990 I got some with luck fishing, some with trading and one without luck from an underwater structure
I lost all my rare weapons, like i grinded for days for some of them, even though i am mainly mage and i can survive this its still really annoying.

Luck 3 did nothing for me. I started 03/21 and lost my first drowned sword my only kai, 3 scimitar and 2 tempered bows :(
i didnt lose anything but i still want to get nimbus sea diver whenever i get a sea chart and go there theres no chests
Luckily i logged on like 11 hours after the update so i lost nothing (not that i had anything particularly rare)

I got my sunken armor back plus my sunken staff
On my warrior save slot I lost my sunken sword and I was and still am depressed about it
I didnt lose my top-grade ultra high quality climbing claws i got from red man though 🎊🎊

I lost a bunch of my weapons but the mods restored my sunken sword, aka my only valuable weapon
I sadliy lost 6 sunken swords and one sunken staffs and did not use the luck 3 at all 😢

I lost my sunken sword, some kai sabers, elius loot, some vindicators and more, I have sunken staff too, but I didn't unequip it so I have it still, only one things I want to know, is it now safe to unequip weapons?
nah, anything you have equipped/weapons obtained before the bug are vulnerable
i would recommend just fishing up another sunken sword incase
