After my last experience of applying for this scholarship and not even getting selected for it despite having a 3.70+ CGPA, according to them, this scholarship is only for students who don't even have access to a smart phone. This is the level of poverty he is facing. Then he is eligible. Otherwise, he is not eligible. It's useless to even apply for this scholarship. First, you have to fill out the online form, then face the hardships of getting it duly signed by the department's director by waiting one to two hours outside his office just for the sake of getting his signature on your form. Then spend money on the photocopying of the documents. Then face the sorching sun just in order to reach the administration building commonly known as AC2 to get essential information regarding the scholarship. Then, on the interview day, wait for three to four hours for your turn. then go home and wait for another two to three months for the announcement of a scholarship.But I'm sure you will wonder when you don't see your name on the list of selected students, despite being a hardworking student and sacrificing a lot just to maintain your grades. There is huge corruption even in this type of scholarship.
Sad to hear but this scholarship is solely for students who came from financially deprived families
