How do you have all these delicious burgers without becoming the shape of a snorlax?
Also, this looks more like an advert than a recipe. Your filming is phenomenal - I don't even care if I never make the food, it's super entertaining and satisfying to watch.
Thanks so much! I usually have my neighbors or girlfriend help me eat this stuff haha.
My niece was eating Shake Shack the other day & I told her I WISH I could find a recipe for the mushroom burger! Thanks for granting my wish!!!!!💙💙
5:12 i see your face in the oil!
hehe HELLO!
Nice beard 😊
You can use the scraps of mushrooms in home cooked vegetables broth it gives it amazing flavour.
Love mushroom recipes thank you!!
I need to make this ASAP
You do! Let me know how it goes!
looks incredible
After turning vegan from veggie, I was always sad about missing out on this.....until now
Finding this recipe is a dream come true!
🤤 looks sooo delicious!!
omg I'm trying to eat more whole food plants but when I come to this channel, I feel like I'm commiting a grave sin! XDDDD great stuff
Omg this looks so good!!! I have to try this!
👍
Wow what a great recipe!!
God damn. I'm just waiting for the day your channel blows up. Video quality is incredible, recipes are easy to follow, and most importantly the food looks SO FUCKING GOOD. I will watch your subscriber count with great interest.
2AM and here I find myself drooling over this 😩
you taste the flavors more with the toppings on the bottom since they hit your tongue and not blocked by the burger
That looks so bomb
Beautiful
Awesome vids, love this channel.
Just made this- was an absolute hit. Perfecto
Nice!!
Looks bomb!
I love it
WOW
You can make veggie broth out of vegetable scraps! Just a suggestion, it’s a good way to not feel wasteful and save a little bit of money too!
why would you ever thumbs down this awesome burger!!!
I love your channel.
Wow I am making this soon
Awesome, let me know how it turns out!
Yay I just subscribed!
I don't ever microwave Plastic. That's def no no! Could I use just a glass bowl with some water around the mushroom?
I like you! You made me laugh a few times. I’m not vegan but still watched to the end! Great video
I am drooolling omfg
Love the vids, keep it up. What brand of cheese and bun do you use? Thx.
Hi thanks! In this recipe I use Daiya blocks and grate them myself. The buns are accidentally vegan brioche buns I found at Ralphs / Kroger!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That burger presentation is fantastic. What do you do with your oil after cooking, I stray away from my deep fryer because I'm never using it enough to save the spent oil ?
I totally save it! I use it at least 3 times (edited to add I just googled how many times it's okay to reuse oil for frying breaded stuff and they say 3-4 times, I generally don't go over 4) depending on what I cook or how much I cook. When I made the Takis jalapeno poppers I couldn't really reuse it, since the takis made the oil taste like, well takis lol. But yeah since I do fry quite a bit I def save it. The fry daddy that I use is a great vessel for storing it too.
Hey Thee Burger Dude! I know its a little early and might be out of your area of expertise, but all you do seems delicious so what do you think about a Thanks Giving/Christmas Turkey recipe?
hey thanks! I don't have plans to do a vegan turkey recipe, but if I can do some testing perhaps. I am gonna do some videos for thanksgiving I think though. I'm thinking of doing one for my spin on staples like mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry, and then another video to show some creative ways to use the leftovers.
Notification squad! 🍔🍄🍔
hehe Hi Lisa!
1. Keep up the GREAT vids!
2. What is your bun brand of choice?
3. Thx!
I don't really have a brand, but I tend to buy whatever looks the best at the store haha. But it's typically the generic store buns, either at Whole Foods, Ralphs or Vons. Nothing fancy. Most buns in my area are vegan except Hawaiian and brioche (although this bun is an accidentally brioche I found at Ralphs).
Also in the LA area there's a bakery called Rockenwagner that makes vegan brioche buns too.
Shroom burger ,smart choice
No, please don't fry the puppy 😆. Anyways great looking result.
Oh and your video thumbnails are awesome, very cool.
You make fast food vegan
magic🌈
Please make the Shake Shack veggie burger, thank you!
Just occurred to me. Instead of roasting and then frying. Put it together with raw mushroom and grill it in one of those fish basket things. I think I just gained a pound imagining this. Thanks burger dude.
How many minutes did you put the burger in the oil ?
I don't remember but just until it's golden brown. probably 3-4 or so
Quick question, what cheese do you use??
I used the Daiya blocks and grated them!
Okay but why did you add the Nooch?
Surely not because it's dictated by vegan law, right?
Can't get thrown in vegan jail now can I??
1 comment love the vids
fuck that's goodddddd
If loving this is wrong 🎶🎼🎵🎤 I don’t wanna be right. 🎵🎤🎼 I don’t even like vegan cheese and I’m willing to make concessions.
genuinely curious as to why people go vegan, feel free to share your reasons
For me it was a mixture of educating myself on how my food got to my plate and learning about vegan alternatives and recipes. It's something I've thought about for a long time and in 2018 my New Year's resolution was to go vegan by the end of that year. I had never watched slaughterhouse footage because I knew it would turn me off of meat. Then in March of 2018 I got stoned and watched the first 90 seconds of "Dairy is Scary" and that did it LOL.
The recipe looks awesome!....... until you said top bun on the top :/
Odd question, just wondering how you would do the stuffing for the burger if you’re vegetarian but not vegan??
Exactly the same way, because everyone can eat vegan burgers
