From surviving to thriving Amen
I was literally praying for this last night. For God to take me out of survival mode into thriving and the fulfilment of his promises in our lives and in the lives of God's people.
Thank you! Yes! Literally 4-5 journals: in bookcases, boxes, and bedside table. A 22 year marriage to a narcissistic, abusive preacher and 10 years of survival once I left: financial ruin, PTSD, anorexia, mental health problems and suicide ideologies. God has been so good to me. He has given me the dream and assignments, to write a few books and minister to other women, as well as children, who have gone through or currently walking through trauma. He made a way for me to get a master’s degree in Psychology and a current desire to become a child psychologist. He has sent prophecy from several sources that I will be speaking to audiences of women, instilling his freedom and his healing. Yet!!! I feel like I am on a treadmill. He just removed me from a job I loved as a behavior specialist with elementary students and I am sitting here this summer waiting for him to send me wherever it is that he wants for me to go. My heart hurts for leaving the job I love but I am also very excited to unwrap the future that he has waiting for me. Thank you for this encouraging word.
I’m out of surviving mode and I’m now in thriving mode for the Glory of God. He’s bringing me back to life. My dreams live again. I receive this Word. In Jesus Name! Amen! Amen! Amen!

It’s been tough, and I've been asking the Lord to restore my heart to hope and childlike faith again, to deliver me from any hope deferred that makes the heart sick. The older we get, the more wickedness we're exposed to - but the greater the potential to encounter His grace, His redemption and glory in the midst of it.

@@NYCHairguru unfortunately the church does not always help even though they are supposed to. When I was homeless due to family issues, I was left in a homeless shelter to basically die.

I’ve been in survival mode my whole life. God has been healing me for the past 10 or so years, since I found out that I had something called Complex PTSD. Praise God for healing!! This is very encouraging because I haven’t seen a lot of progress recently.

I have severe C PTSD and the Lord has been healing me every day, little by little. I'm in recovery for several drug addictions, and have 4 and a half years clean by the grace of God alone.
I have found when I seek God in all things, when I ask, I am given, when I knock, He answers.
It's my hunger for it that is allowing God to work so deeply and quickly in my life to heal me. He is healing my SO as well.
Years of all kinds of abuse, both ends of it for both of us and God is bringing us into the land of healing by His hand.
The more I chase Him and respond to His moving in me, the more fruit I see.

This confirms what has happened in my life recently. After a deep drought of nine months during which time I was continuing to stay faithful in plant seeds God has brought his life-giving rain to water and grow those seeds and now the harvest has come and is growing each day!
