    this novel was awesome.
It's one of those novels it feels like you are inside that world and death comes close by per hour you spend and you feel the tension on your back or something like that...
I got some hydrophobia after this one lol.

    Welcome "deep place"
See it together.
    Welcome "deep place"
See it together.
Looking for the place where a heart feels at ease. Then, aim at the new future.
While it doesn't know, scene changes someday, and very warm wind will blow in place.
    Welcome "deep place"
See it together.

hello people of the future. One time in Grade 9, we had to deconstruct the meaning of lyrics of a song. I chose this song for the project cause back in 2013, I was deeply into Visual Novels like Ever17.

      Hello, & Awesome!
In my “project assignment/class”, in high school, I got to make a wall jump mechanic in Littlebigplanet vita (I’m not kidding) and make a level with the mechanic. It was the best time I had. The game also lets you compose music. I made a cover of Blue Bird Lamentation from Virtues Last Reward (by the same author who wrote Ever17) and used it in the level

Everyone who likes the Infinity series should also check out the Zero Escape series, its spiritual successor.

I wish there was an instrumental version of this. I actually like it more before the singing starts. Not that it's bad, but it's like the original tone at the beginning makes it sound like it's going to be a lot more ethereal and melancholic.

Everyone who likes the Infinity series should also check out I/O (Input/Output), its (another) spiritual successor. Made by a man who also made "Myself Yourself" possibly as a spiritual sucesor to "Memories Off", wich is Infinity's more normal sister series.

+John Kimonster Isnt 9 doors 9 hours 9 persons spiritual successor of this series? I haven't heard about Output/Input.

+MrConredsX Well yes... Tecnically the two sagas, Zero Escape (999, VLR and the next next one they come to make) and the Regista games (Input/Output and Root Double) are both descendants from the infinity (that's why i said it as "its "another" spiritual sucessor"). Let me explain it.
Kotaro Uchikoshi was the main scenario writer of Never7, Ever17 and Remember11, yes (and considering that Visual Novels are much like theatre plays that's saying a lot), and that's why 999 and VLR have the same "Natural Disaster/Survival/Fight the destiny" feeling Infinity novels have, it's plot twists and general weirdness (and charismatic characters too, like the eneagram themed ones of 999), but lacks it's "hard science fiction", anime looks (at least i say it's aesthetic is very western friendly), and narrative creativity (like the separated main characters in Ever 17 or the constant swapping in Remember11).
On the other hand, Takumi Nakazawa, the actual director of the Infinity vnovels, made his own company afterwards (Regista) and authored at least two Science Fiction Visual Novels as ambitious as the old Infinity ones (not saying that the deconstructive characters of Zero Escape don't have their own merit as ambicious), with a lot less of that urgency scenarios and plot twists and pseudo-science (but there is, anyway a lot of pseudo-science too, but no, in general are a lot "hard") and with a lot more general weirdness (yeah, they are both pretty weird men), narrative complexity (for example, the second Ishtar route in I/O happens backwards in time) and mechanical complexity (The route selection sistem in Root Double calcules the reader choices based on an eneagram sistem behind their back, and choices made in one route in I/O are saved in a system file that affects the events of the others too, like in Remember11)
And as a little extra you could say that Naotaka Hayashi (the other other other other other writer of Remember11 and the man that went up in responsability as Nakazawa left KID between Remember11 and 12Riven) and Takeshi Abo (the music composer) took some of that weirdness and creativity and gave it to the Science ADV saga (Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes, Chaos;Child, Steins;Gate 0), but i think that's too broad strokes (and so pretty unimportant in this discussion) so it doesn't actually matter.
But yeah, if you are interested, check out info about the Input/Output Visual Novel that was translated by the Lemnisca Translations guys, who also translated Remember11 and Never7, and actually are helping with the official localization of Root Double (they said they were going to release a translation patch for it, like with I/O, but then they were contacted by the company)
Also, sorry if bad english. Me Mexican. Mexicans not words with good. Mexican wants loli girl... I mean lolipop ;)

The problem is that Ever17 would be almost impossible to adapt, given that the plot relies on the first person perspective.

Never7 is the only one that would work as a VN, E17's twist would be ruined by an anime PoV or made way too obvious, R11 I hear is the same case though I've yet to play it
