To be fair. The audio quality on this is very good. I am not judging from the quality however. She is not holding her notes as long as usual. There are no growls, seems to be lacking energy, her "again" at the end is the shortest I have heard and I have heard 36 of Kerry's NGD live. If you haven't seen Kerry at her best then you might think this is good but she can be sooooo much better. Just my opinion though.
i agree. she's clearly saving her voice for broadway. she will be under quite a lot of pressure to wow them....first british elphaba/the fact she's transferring her contract/doing the opposite of what idina did etc. plus her voice isn't like what they're used to. america tends to have quite riffy elphabas...and kerry is a belter. i'm wondering if she will try something different on broadway. when she performs in concerts, she does add a bit of flavour. maybe she'll add something new?
