I’ve dated Chinese girls and they’ve said the same thing about the difference between foreigners and natives. I would be very verbally expressive about my affection and they would show their affection through their actions. For example, they wouldn’t say “I love you” much, but they would ask me if I needed a jacket or they would cook for me . They would show love by being concerned about me.
Yep. Exactly how my people are. We're Asian but not Chinese. We also express love through actions more so than words. So for people not as exposed to verbal ways, it can be refreshing I guess.

Those cultural differences are quite interesting... And I may not understand it all in the fullest, but I find it kinda interesting. About the way that people in Japan face the many and involuntarily changes in life, the decent careers, our personal evolutions... That is truly very interesting! And shows a part of the reality that very few foreigners get to know.
I actually like seeing this. What becomes of idols after they graduate.

I believe Kyoko-chan could return if she wants, because she looks more beautiful than ever and could most probably achieve her goal.
But this experience is very positive and useful (aside from the management company which is a different topic) in many sectors of society, and in many professions.
Abilities and capacity of many women that were able to spend some years as idols are probably very underrated.
Eg. perhaps they can become also moderators and mediators in all kinds of debates, that can be important in a developing society, in a time when the world becomes more difficult.
Miley is showing a lot of knowledge and smartness, behind the cute facade.
