There was this guy that I talked to every single day for hours. We would stay up late at night talking to eachother on the phone. I started to develop feelings. I eventually had a crush on my best friend, so I told him and he said he likes me too. We would play truth or dare over the phone and do the dares next time we saw eachother. One time he dared me to tell everyone that I like him, so I did because I really care about him and I wasn't ashamed for liking him anymore. Before that, I was embarrassed for liking him because most of the girls didn't like him. He acted differently with me though, super nice and sweet. He was my best friend.. I wrote a 5 page letter for him explaining how I feel and how I might've been in love with him. I rewrote it 6 times so I could get it just right. I gave it to him and he thought it was really sweet. He showed his friend, which I did not appreciate because I mentioned a lot of personal stuff that should've only stayed between him and I. I forgave him and moved on. After that I tried acting like nothing changed but he started to ignore me and leave me on read and hardly reply to my messages.. I texted all my friends that know him asking if he's okay, and if anything happened because I couldn't figure out why he was ghosting me.. One of my friends knew and she said "He asked me not to tell you, but you're worried so I'll tell you. He thinks you're really annoying" I immediately felt my heart drop a million miles to the floor and smacked the ground as hard as you could imagine. My stomach tied in knots and an over whelming feeling of disappointment and embarrassment fled my body. I was embarrassed that I ever liked him in the first place. He is fake. He acted so nice and led me on for months and months until I really liked him and he shut me off with no explanation as to what has happened. It really hurt.. I unfollowed him on every social media, I blocked him, I changed his name from "(his name) 💕💘" to his full name, and I changed my phone background from a selfie of us to me and my other friend. I had been writing a song for him for weeks. I wanted to have something special for him, because his birthday is coming up soon.. I wanted to sing to him the next time I saw him... The song was so powerful and full of emotion and starstruck love. I was ready to send it to him, then I found out that he never cared about me. He's a phony. Played with my emotions until he got sick of the games and left me in the dust. Spat in my face and left. I had written in my diary every single day, and every entry was about him. The next more powerful and filled with emotions than the last. I genuinely thought I had found the one. I had never cared or liked someone as much as I liked him, and I found out he had been talking crap about me the whole time. He never liked me. He thought it was a fun game to play. I'm still very hurt, considering I found out all of this today. I can't believe he would do something like this, knowing how much I cared for him. I am so sad and disappointed, all of the love and energy I put into him. Gone.

It’s dumb how I’m only nine, and I can relate very much.. Plus, I’m not thirsty either, alright? Don’t worry, I’m smart and all but I’m weak and un-athletic, making me wonder why any guy would like me. So my “friend” told him that I liked him and he said that he liked me back. But we weren’t even a thing.. So later on he tells me that he hates me and likes my really annoying friend.. That happened 2 days after.. So after that.... Everyone tells me he used to date like 35 different girls and made out with one. 🤢 So that’s my dumb elementary story that happened 4 days ago
There was this guy that I talked to every single day for hours. We would stay up late at night talking to eachother on the phone. I started to develop feelings. I eventually had a crush on my best friend, so I told him and he said he likes me too. We would play truth or dare over the phone and do the dares next time we saw eachother. One time he dared me to tell everyone that I like him, so I did because I really care about him and I wasn't ashamed for liking him anymore. Before that, I was embarrassed for liking him because most of the girls didn't like him. He acted differently with me though, super nice and sweet. He was my best friend.. I wrote a 5 page letter for him explaining how I feel and how I might've been in love with him. I rewrote it 6 times so I could get it just right. I gave it to him and he thought it was really sweet. He showed his friend, which I did not appreciate because I mentioned a lot of personal stuff that should've only stayed between him and I. I forgave him and moved on. After that I tried acting like nothing changed but he started to ignore me and leave me on read and hardly reply to my messages.. I texted all my friends that know him asking if he's okay, and if anything happened because I couldn't figure out why he was ghosting me.. One of my friends knew and she said "He asked me not to tell you, but you're worried so I'll tell you. He thinks you're really annoying" I immediately felt my heart drop a million miles to the floor and smacked the ground as hard as you could imagine. My stomach tied in knots and an over whelming feeling of disappointment and embarrassment fled my body. I was embarrassed that I ever liked him in the first place. He is fake. He acted so nice and led me on for months and months until I really liked him and he shut me off with no explanation as to what has happened. It really hurt.. I unfollowed him on every social media, I blocked him, I changed his name from "(his name) 💕💘" to his full name, and I changed my phone background from a selfie of us to me and my other friend. I had been writing a song for him for weeks. I wanted to have something special for him, because his birthday is coming up soon.. I wanted to sing to him the next time I saw him... The song was so powerful and full of emotion and starstruck love. I was ready to send it to him, then I found out that he never cared about me. He's a phony. Played with my emotions until he got sick of the games and left me in the dust. Spat in my face and left. I had written in my diary every single day, and every entry was about him. The next more powerful and filled with emotions than the last. I genuinely thought I had found the one. I had never cared or liked someone as much as I liked him, and I found out he had been talking crap about me the whole time. He never liked me. He thought it was a fun game to play. I'm still very hurt, considering I found out all of this today. I can't believe he would do something like this, knowing how much I cared for him. I am so sad and disappointed, all of the love and energy I put into him. Gone.

I had a friend I cared about so much and I fell for him even though all my friends said not to because he would break my heart. I didn't listen because I thought I was different and I thought he would never do anything to hurt me. That was a lie. He said so many nice things but never wanted anyone to know about me and him. I felt he was embarrassed of me. Found out later he was seening other girls and I broke down and cried thinking about how stupid I was to fall for him. My friendship with him was ruined and I couldn't take him anymore. I left him and it still hurts so much because I still care. I hate him because I care about him but I hate myself because I still care about him when I know I shouldn't.
