thanks for the review. Lets say i get 4 reolink cameras and the nvr setup, can I view any camera live feed on my reolink app, when I'm travelling(i.e. not on home wifi)?
I think you’re right with people going back to Diesels. I’ve been keeping an eye on value of my misses 2019 118D over the last 18 months and it’s not lost anything over the last 12 months and we’ve put 10k miles on it! That’s unheard of in today’s climate.
I have been considering a Reolink NVR system. We have a detached warehouse in back of our main office. It does have cat 6E run to it. Does the Reolink allow me to have a switch at the back building and run multiple cameras from that switch without having to do home runs all the way back to the office? Or will I have to do home runs for each camera? Thx

Hey Morgan, thanks for watching : ) I haven't had a chance to review the Reolink Atlas yet, but I agree, it looks promising too. I just always prefer the Duo series of cameras since some Pan & Tilt cameras will miss fast moving subjects while auto-tracking and I can rest assured that the 180 degrees will capture everything.
Thanks for watching : ) If you're looking for exterior coverage of your home, personally, I would just get 4 of the Duo 3 cameras and put one on each side of the house to ensure you have full coverage from any side. You can hook them all up to Reolink's NVR unit to ensure you have enough recording storage for all the cameras if you plan on using them to record 24/7 vs. event-based recordings.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Reolink. I've had their cameras for years and just got their Wi-Fi doorbell a few months ago. Both cameras and the doorbell have been giving me issues. One camera stopped connecting to wifi, the doorbell keeps sending false motion alerts, and it has terrible night video recording. The day/night sensor also won't auto switch to night mode. It has been a common issues and Reolink refuses to even offer suggestions on how to fix it.
@@katerycho14 Which Reolink camera do you have? Also, for your WiFi, do you have the WiFi split into two separate SSIDs, one for the 2.4 Ghz and one for the 5.0 Ghz? That could be an issue if it isn't split when you first connected it to your WiFi because I haven't experienced any issues with WiFi connections on my video doorbell. I believe for the NV auto switch, there is a way to set the threshold for when it switches over if the auto feature is working well for you. I think they're coming out with newer models with better NV and detections, but I haven't used them yet, just seen some of the specs, but yea false alerts are tricky to get rid of with most systems I've used unless you reduce the detection range, set activity zones and if it has Radar sensors.
@@DemCrumblies I have the Wi-Fi video doorbell wired, and I have 2 C1 Pro cameras. I've had the C1 Pros for a few years now and I've had to replace both of them at one point or another because they both stopped connecting to Wi-Fi randomly. My Wi-Fi is split into 2.4 and 5, so no issues there. When I had the doorbell connected to the 2.4, I couldn't access the doorbell if I wasn't at home. I had to switch it to the 5g connection and that part works fine now. I've adjusted the thresholds for the auto day/night, nothing helps. The motion detection was working fine one day and went nuts the next with no changes in settings. I've emailed their support multiple times about it and haven't gotten a response. I refuse to buy a new doorbell when I just got this one in March.

Yep, they all have two way talk. I just linked to the full review for each camera if you want to hear a demo of what two way talk is like on each camera, but from memory, the AOSU camera has the loudest speakers.

Yep you can, you can view it anywhere in the world as long as your home's WiFi is working.

Amazing video, thank you so much. Think I might go for the Eufy
Awesome! I think they have their black friday sales going on right now too.
Thanks for the comprehensive quick review!
I like Reolink Altas which is new. have you tried it yet?

Can you suggest a complete system using the Relink Duo 3 cameras?
I want at least 8 cameras 24/7 recording
I really enjoyed your review

What system do you recommend? Hoping to make a decision soon. Thanks!
No talk of Synology Surveillance Station? Blue Iris?

damn you convinced me to go from eufy to reolink
You can't to wrong with either brand honestly, but hard to beat that field of view.
@@DemCrumblies was about to order then realize it doesn't have wifi, thats a deal breaker
The Reolink Duo 2 has WiFi and 4K quality. I reviewed it separately also.
Wyze for.non bullit proof
Haven't used Wyze yet, how do you find it if you've used it before?
