I have nord n20, and I was so surprised n30 does not have amoled display. Looks like I made the right decision getting a new phone in 2022. It is my first Android phone after leaving apple in the dust. It is so much faster and runs outstandingly well compared to my iphone.
*making this comment on my n20, pretty much had this phone since launch (wow time flies by quick omg) and it's done me well besides a couple of small problems at first and 1 big text messaging problem that eventually got fixed with updates. Sometimes the ram does act up and restarts other apps I'm in and that's annoying but other than that I've been really happy with this phone, decent pics, videos, loud, long battery, amazing screen, good for emulation though I wish it could actually hook up to an external monitor, and only a bit of the screen coating has recently worn off now so there's a small permanent smudge. There really is no reason to upgrade to the n30 if someone already owns the n20.*
The N30 is more of a upgrade for the N10. The N20 really feels like a step up from both in quality. Just wish it had the oneplus slider on the side. Heres to hoping the N40 brings back OLED and finally upgrades that aging Snapdragon 690/695 (They are nearly the same chip)
N30 has 8gb ram, better if you're gaming and multi tasking which is key to me. Don't care about oled. Better longevity wise too since oled is known for black dots (dead pixels)and screen burn.

Would you consider "upgrading" to the n20 from a OnePlus 8? Or will the Performance and lower refresh rate display make this phone feel too slow? Performance is not an issue on my 8, but battery life is not great on the OnePlus 8 and I miss having a headphone jack and micro SD slot. Thanks!
@@ramongonzalez9497 - Yeah, I would miss OLED for sure, but LCD isn't terrible, just not as inky blacks and saturated colors. The N30 has a larger battery, charges faster, has a headphone jack and an SD card. I just wish flagships still had headphone jacks and SD card slots.
the n20 is nice and i like the compact size. i have one as a backup and wont hesitate to use it as a daily driver if needed. was using it recently til i got my 12r. but yeah even i noticed the camera was bad.
N20 Gang...The best phone low key...The ones who owns the phone know im right...how the phone surprise you with all the things it can do ...and has dropped it thinking your for sure had a crack screen or some sort of damage then you pick it up and look and there isn't any ..like it dropping never even happened...solid phone...dont upgrade N20 is a GEM...
Im trying to decide n30 or n20. I wish the n30 had AOD. I wish the n20 had stereo speakers. I can get the n20 for 20 dollars or i can get the n20 unlocked for about 150 dollars.
@@luizsouza2806 I went with the Motorola razr 2023. I'm glad I did it's a fun device to have but if you are the type that drops your phones I wouldn't get it.
My man. As soon as you put a case on your device (which everyone should) The fingerprint issue becomes a non-issue, and the flush fingerprint sensor also has its own crevice. Come on man!

I like the N30 way more
N30 LCD is great. It has no PWM.
OLED is garbage that hurts your eyes with PWM flicker.

Moto G Stylus 5G is a great choice for phones. I have that and the Nord N20.

I have the N20 and went ahead and got the N30 ( which i returned). The n20 has much better battery life. Just my experience

The refreshrate itself is gonna make you hit your head in the wall. The snapdragon 865 it's miles ahead of the 695.

Does it overheat? My n10 gets hot after like 10 min of video chatting
Geekbench scores are one thing, but real-world performance is what matters. Can't wait to see the N30 SE in action!

SE was different, since it launched on 12, I believe, it is entitled to 13. Not sure, but I think that's the reason, N20 regular launched on 11.
