Draco Sol it’s a LOT of strain on your knees and legs bc their legs are bent the entire time they are dancing. If you look closely at the girl’s feet at 6:18 you’ll see that she’s pushing her feet upward. Imagine doing that multiple times while you’re legs are bent too

It's not just "missionaries" who openly comment on people being sexy in public and make the ordinary sordid, the ancient, natural and spiritual reduced to lust. The judges REALLY have to be paying attention to score these ladies. I could see minor details between the ladies in blue in the first clip and the ladies in the third clip. I think they all did well.

We need to return Hawai'i to its people. I want them to be able to enjoy their own culture in peace. To show Americans the REAL hula, not the fake luao stuff. It has its own language for fucks sake, and America still won't give it back.

Show of how much out culture has changed, kalamai if the people in there chanting and dancing are Hawaiian by blood which really matters!! But I meant by like physically, Hawaiian attributes the looks, instead we see more Asians and Filipinos and Hauoles. THE HAUOLE!! The people who treated our lands like crap since the day they came on our lands!!!
Frankly while they danced lovely the costumes were disappointing. The warriors should be in loincloths etc... absolutely ridiculous and the same goes for the granny dresses.

The style of oli she is doing is kepa kepa style which is a style of chanting that is done at a rapid pace. There are different styles of chanting.
