We're getting closer and closer to having all of the songs released for Eurovision 2024. At midnight, we added Austria to the list.
Back in January, Austrian broadcaster ORF internally selected singer Kaleen to represent the nation in Malmö. Along with the news, the broadcaster also confirmed she'd be singing "We Will Rave."

Kaleen is a great performer!! She's been doing quite a lot of stand in rehearsals for esc in the past years so you can see she can dance and sing!!! Austira is my winner i absolutely love this song
Yeah, she can definitely move as a professional dancer who won world-wide dancing competitions. Also she helped a couple entries in the past to improve their choreographies and staging. The only thing i am worried is if her voice will work with all the dancing.

I was obsessed with it on first listen. I'm a 90s kid and love the Eurodance/Prodigy/Cascada influences all packaged into one highly polished, instant song.

You should see her leaked audition video to see how she dances... It's incredible. She was also the artistic director for Chanel and stage director for ESC the same year. And she is a five times world dancing champion. In the audition video she sings live AND dances like it's CGI animated haha.

About the music video: ORF hired an american company to direct the music video but they didnt deliver the middle section on time they're waiting for the company to send the whole music video in order to post it to the eurovision channel.
The music video is coming tomorrow. I can't wait for it to come out.

How to rate a song if there is no music video or live performance ?

La verdad yo no quiero que gane una cancion que no gano un nacional, no se siento que no es justo y que aun la cancion mucha veces no es propia.
No todos los países tienen nacionales y entonces lo que dices creo que es injusto. Si la canción es bonita, no debería importarte si hubiera ganado o no un nacional. Eurovisión es un concurso de canciones independientemente de cómo se haya elegido la canción.
@@harrischem el hecho que muchas veces sea alguien que busca abrirse camino y pasa por las diferentes fases con todo lo que eso conlleva, es mucho mad meritorio que cuando ya te dan la cancion y ya el pais pone todo los recursos a tus pies.
Por eso el caso Megara es tan resaltado, aun aunque la cancion sea inferior al año pasado.

@@harrischem no dije que la cancion fuera buena, (aunque si me gusta la banda), sino todo el recorrido que tuvieron que hacer. Rechazados primersmente en España, ser aceptado en San Marino, canta en la semifinal, ella con bronquitis, tener que ir a una respeca y sin ser candidatos ganar, por eso lo que conocian la historia se emocionaron mucho con su triunfo.

This is a proper perfect song. NL's song has none of Kaleen's atmosphere.
I love it BUT the new version feels like it has TOO MANY COOKS i.e. they added TOO MANY new things, a new line in the first verse, a new beat in the chorus, a breakdown, acid sounds, a build up to nothing. Everything seemed UNNECCESSARY compared to the more innocent and stripped back leaked snippets.
It's too similar to the ICE Mac with Think about the way, for me it's at risk of plagiarism
It's obviously partly remade of Ice Mc - Think About The Way. This song or even Austria must be disqualified.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s just plain electro music? I do not understand the hype at all, it could be any music of a DJ of the years 2010... This year is very dancing with a good overall quality, but the few ballads and more singular songs will be able to strongly stand out in my opinion (France, Serbia, Slovenia, Norway...)
People, it's her choice to ignore the Israeli song, respect the fact that she doesn't respect you. Her silence says it all. Disappointing.
