Absolutely scintillating singing, dancing, direction to warm up the heart and get involved in song, then depending on how much we are swaying to the beautiful dedicated dancing of Geeta Bali mixed with villainous looks, and again soothed by the innocent expressions of Dev Anand, we may get to appreciating Sahir's Lyrics. This song is in line vedic understanding of time, that there is only now, no past, no future only Now! Sahir was deep, and I felt this is the precursor of his another song in movie "Waqt", age bhi janne na tu, peeche bhi janne na tu"

My favorite song of Baazi! - Geeta Dutt sounds so at ease and beautiful in this song!!! Her voice was such a gift to Indian cinema- there is not a single other female singer I have heard in Bollywood that has possessed such dense CORE and natural depth inherent to her voice - without losing any focus or sweetness. Such a voice is very rare in general throughout the world! Plus Geeta captures the emotion of every one of her songs. There is such emotional diversity in the songs she has sung - beyond just comparing technical diversity. She captured the emotion of every song - this is the true the aim and art of playback singing that sets it apart from other forms of singing.
