- Mostar is probably the most popular town in Bosnia & Herzegovina and for good reason! The town is filled with incredible architecture, amazing views of the mountains, and some gorgeous blue water.
Walking through the picturesque streets, you'll find many shops selling a multitude of things from Turkish tea sets to Gucci head scarfs. The town seems to be centered around one attraction, though, the Stari Most bridge, which pulls everyone in. Here you can see the Mostar diving team collecting money for their next jump into the water - and at 27 meters tall, the jump really is an amazing sight.
Mostar is not just a beautiful town. There's also a vibrant and devastating history to be learned about. And, lucky for those visiting, there are quite a few great museums to gain some knowledge. We visited the Herzegovina museum which covered a long range of history from the Ottoman empire to the Bosnian war. You're able to see life as it was for the rich and poor during the Ottoman times as well as those fighting for the ability to live harmoniously among one another during the war.
Mostar has a ton to offer and what we show is just a tiny sliver, so if you get the chance, we definitely recommend going!

Hi! We are Marshall and Sabrina, a couple from Colorado who are eager to see the world! We quit our jobs and packed our bags to pursue a life of full-time travel.

@@JayandSarah we both grew up in Colorado and met while studying at Colorado State University (Marshall studied electrical engineering and I studied accounting). Growing up we did a good bit of traveling throughout the US but not much internationally so we’ve been enjoying exploring together 😊 we appreciate the interest haha what about you guys? How did you get into traveling this much?
