Yes these are facts I was born in ‘85 and this year is arguably my favorite year of the 90s I remember it very vividly great time be a kid!

Graduated high school left my small town for college in 92. It was the last time I saw some people I had known my whole life, but I met some people that remain in my life to this day. So many memories, both good and bad, but mostly good. It was a magical time.
Your story is almost parallel to mine.
1992 was the year I found in March that my husband would be dead by October. *So many* of the tunes in here run along that theme. Made my eyes leak a lil bit. Thanks, Richard, nice upload.

My first year of college. What a great time to be alive! Grunge exploded onto the scene, and the sparks of change were everywhere.
I was 7 years old in 1992. I miss the 90s so much. When the word offended did not exist. The Music, TV and the Movies will never age. The 1990s was the last ever great decade we experienced before the world slowly became mad, toxic and narcissistic, and before the internet , iphones, Covid and social media took over our lives. Thank goodness we have this remember videos to cheer us up when 2021 get us down with all the media negativity, bad music and Political correctness. Its like a time machine. The 90s was named the grunge era where going to raves in nightclubs was the norm. It was a very special and happy time to be a kid/teenager in the 1990s.

I turned 16 yrs old in 1992 and this was such a great time in my life.... music was so important for me, such great memories!! thanks for helping me remember such a wonderful and innocent part of my childhood!!!! Thanks!!!!

I remember the late 90s and all these songs in this video that were popular for 10+ years. I'm at a point I truly miss the early 2000s more than anything in the world right now.

I wish i was born in 1992, it's because i was born in 2003, but if i was born in 1992, i would become a child star, disney star, & celebrity (Singer, Actor, Songwriter, Producer, Dancer, & TV host)
I was born in 1980, but watching vids from 1980 do nothing for me, because I wasn't even self-aware. Those first early years we have no control, only see and hear what our parents or older siblings choose. But I was 12 here, and channel surfing could be slightly overwhelming. There was so much going on, it was hard to keep up!
I was born in 2000 and remember a lot from that year. My first memory was in 2002 when I was 2, I visited my great grandma in Wolverhampton. Even though I was only 2 I still remember that. At the same time, I can't remember what I had for tea last night. Memory is weird... :D

1992. One helluva year. Coming of age and realizing that my days of childhood were ending fast. Graduated from HS, fell in love, got hurt...My ex used to say “Die without you” was our song. It wasn’t the greatest time in my life, but there were some good moments.

Same here I was born in 1999 I wish I was born 1988 at least to feel what 1992 was like. The 2000s was okay but it sucked honestly.
I born 1992. Wish I had born 10 years earlier instead, then I would have very fantastic childhood experience throughout all way 90's years. If I been born in 72, I would enjoyed my young adult years throughout the 90's myself, the cost of living are cheaper back then, good economic, the foods are cheaper and taste are better back then, people's communication skills are better than today. If I bought used car - that would been 60's, 70's and 80's car which look way better than newer car today. And the people wasn't completely stupid back then like now, the movies, shows and games they made are way better than today.

I remember watching Lawnmower Man in the movie theater, listening to Shai on my walk-man, and buying the Beastie Boy tape from Tower Records.
Pearl Jam was essential music for 1992 and MTV countdowns.

I had 9 years in 1992, and I remember that this was a great year.
Great job on this video! I was in 8th grade ready to venture to high school the next year. Hanging out at the malls getting boy's numbers. haha This was an excellent year for music as Rage,Tool and NIN hit the radios. It was a bit overwhelming but in a great way!! Oh and I was obsessed with The Lakers and that is when Magic was diagnosed with HIV. Most importantly it was the year my brother came home from the Iraq war, he was a marine on the front lines, it was a great year indeed.

@Jared Walker I'm biased of course, but I think the 90s were a great time to be a kid/teenager. I live in the UK and it was a time of relative political/economic stability for us following the turbulence of the 80s. The music was so good. We had Britpop in the UK, which approximately spanned 1993-98, and it was an epic time to get into rock music...that said pop and RnB were brilliant too. Some great films were made in the 90s too...I remember seeing Jurassic Park for the first time and being obsessed!
I had an analogue childhood/adolescence and had to call my friends in the evening on our house phone, sitting on the stairs because the cord wouldn't stretch that far! My dad used to stand in the doorway tapping his watch when he thought I'd been chatting too long!
I didn't regularly use the internet until 2000/1 and even then I only really used it at school and college.
As for the 80s...I can remember quite a bit from about 1986 onwards. I enjoyed a lot of the Kids TV and pop music of the late 80s, and can remember some of the world events that happened like the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, the hostage crisis in Beiruit, famine in Africa, Tiananmen Square and most of all the fall of the Berlin Wall and the USSR. Obviously being so small I didn't quite understand all of these events but my parents did a good job explaining it to me.
Yep. Remember 1992 very well. Me, my mother, her friend and her son went to the movies. I got outvoted to see "White Men Can't Jump", but I wanted to see Lethal Weapon 3 that year at the movies. Good times.

Graduated in 91, found out my girlfriend was pregnant in 92, so I dropped out of college to make money. Got married in November of 92. Was a busy and life changing year. And yes, still married to the same girl

I was four years old in 1992. I first saw cartoons like the ninja turtles and the simpsons and the X-men and Darkwing Duck. I remember seeing on old sudafed ad where it shows a woman getting into a car and it fades to a blurry side-view image of her not feeling well and tired, then the sudafed box is shown, then later she sees a semi truck and like swerves, I could not tell what happened at the end, that ad can get burnt in my brain sometimes

damn music used to be so good. i started bein goth and checked out of popular music in about 99. tried to watch the 2004 one and i hardly knew any of that music haha. but this is the stuff i used to listen to on the radio with my mom before i "found myself." super nostalgic and i still love new jack swing so much :))). and tori amos of course.
Keep being goth! Im 43 and still rock the goth. There's still a community here in San Diego and Los Angeles that accepts us. Im 43 and I've found a community/scene that is still relevant in 2020|!

***** Pretty much. 1990, and most of 1991 (till septemberish) seems to be mostly a continuation of the 80s. 1992 is when the 90s style seems to really take hold. A bit darker in comparison to 1990 and 1991.

@@Atl-jv1kw Uh, yes there was. Grunge and Gangsta Rap (both the music and fashion) was much more popular in 1992 than it was in 1990/1992. Also a lot more techno/dance music, and less 80s holdovers (even thought there'd still be some 80s holdovers until 1993ish), to name a few things.

Actually, no one was going to Euro Disneyland as depicted in this video. Many jokes were made about this when they grand opened in 92.

My freshman year of high school. It definitely was better then....movies, music, culture, tv, renting videos, courting.....I'd gladly give up social media (already have), iphones and constant contact. It was really better than all of the current tech.
