Thank you, Bhante. If you have not yet attained Arahath state yet, may you attain arahathsip with merit you made by knowledge of Dhamma you passed on to me.

I have a question regarding Nibana or awakening atained by Budha. It was said that before reaching that state he had no sensation and feeling and his mind stopped functioning ' Sanna Vedayeti Nirodh'. My question is as to what was there in him which recognised the Creator, the mind and the non existence of self and the state of Nibana. And to whom he was referring to as 'I' when he said that I have recognised you O Creator and have destroyed your foundation and structure.
This is a very good question to explain about the Nibbana. Nibbana means permanent end of the process of Sansara. Simple explanation of Sansara is rebirth. Most of the religious leaders had expressed about the rebirth in different perspectives. Buddha is the only person who had clearly, and logically pointed out the rebirth process. The reason for the rebirth is the craving for emotions. The emotions can be defined as desires, wants, likes, greediness, views, personalise, selfish, myself, ourselves etc. The way of how this process works called "Panchaupadanaskanda" . A living being is made of Four Great Elements which is called "Rupa" and Four Skanda ( Vedana, Sannga, Sanakara, Vinngana) which is called "Vinnganaya" or "Namaya" . Any of living being in this any 31 realms exist due to the creation of vinnganaya by him or her self in his or her previous lives. Vinnganaya creates by the mental formations of which we grasp the sensations (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling, thinking or memorising) with greed, hate and delusion. This process is called "Panchaupadanaskanda" Every single second he or she feeds his or her vinnganaya with "Panchaupadanaskandaya". The Buddha and the Arahants are the humans and they also are made of Rupa and Nama. Once they have become the Buddha or Arahants, they are no more craving for emotions. They just live until their "Rupa" going to be end. The Buddha can say "I" , otherwise how he can express to the world? But The Buddha would never have said "My". This is the difference. All living beings and the Buddha or Arahants have "Panchaskanda". All living beings grasp the sensations of six senses which is called Panchaupadanaskanda", But the Buddha or Arahants do not grasp the sensations of six senses as they have no greed, hatred or delusion.
Not sure what you meant by a creator? Buddha has clearly said that there is no creator of universe for good/bad or pleasure and suffering. All happens due to reasons when reasons go away all those things cease to exist.

Now I have destroyed the roof including all the rafters called desires or craving or greed or unsatisfactoriness or selfishness. So the builder cannot make any more houses for me. I have made my mind clear and was able to attain Enlightenment. Once someone attains Sothapanna Stage, he or she can observe and realize the process of the birth and the Patichcha Samuppadaya. In Buddha's teaching no one can get the wisdom from someone else. There is no creator but there is a builder !!! It is the craving or desire or unsatisfactoriness or greed or selfishness or whatever meaningful of greediness.
@@QuinnyKRCreator (or House Builder in original Pali text) is a term to the IMPERSONAL mental process present in ALL unenlightened beings that creates the births in Samsara. Buddha saw this process in all its details when achieving Enlightenment. It is another name for Dependent Co-Arising (Paticca Samupadda)
I think it is somewhat misleading how you placed no importance over the last question regarding Bhavanga. Bhavanga Citta is mentioned in the Abhidhamma manual. Are you able to explain if the 17 thought moments and the involvement of Bhavanga citta. Thanks
I do respect and do agree with most of the talks of Banthe Punnaji. But in regards the talk of abortion, I do not agree with his teaching. In Buddha's teaching, he would never have taught about harming or destroying even a plant. Whether it is Embryo or fetus, no one can signify the specific time of the arrival of a Vinnganaya according to the Buddha. It could be happening at any stage. But in medical perspective, it could signify according to the brain. The Buddha's teaching is all about the mind and how to get rid of greed, hate and delusion and get rid of suffering. we should cease the cause , not the effect. How the embryo exist? why the embryo exist? That is what should think about. Once the embryo exist, it means a readymade "Rupa" is awaiting for a "Nama" or Vinngana. if anyone destroys this embryo , a "Nama" would loose it's chance. In the other hand, why the embryo is destroyed? because of the hatred. The Greed and the Delusion make the embryo and the Hatred destroys the embryo. It doesn't matter whether it exist a life or not. Think! " Chethana ham bikkhawe kammang wadami". Mind your own mind: That is Buddha's teaching.
Bhante Punnaji is talking about rebirth in different term from our usual understanding. As usual we talking the rebirth that happen about when the process of living 'body' is being born from our parent (that part is another perspective , explanation that use for common people understanding , father mother - gandhaba - zigot , etc). But Bhante especially want explain more about another perspective when Buddha said rebirth take place when the process of samsara going on again and create the feeling of existence, Buddha is talking about five constituent of perception (pancaskhanda) and antecedental concurrence (paticca samudpada) process. (this perspective is to explaining deeper knowledge of rebirth to Buddha disciple that start understand the process of perception thought direct practice of jhanna experience). Bhante is talking about 'the other side' (apperception) not 'this side'.
I wonder why so many people who don't even understand the basics can attend a talk by Bhante Punnaji. The lady in green don't know what is Dhamma and seems to think it's possible or logical to have something or power that governs us. One man said a sect of Buddhism or Bhante implied that karma and rebirth is in conflict with nibbana, how he got that ?

Really useful to everyone. Appreciate it.
Sadhu x 3 and waiting for another session :)
Would you please turn on the auto subtitles function?

In a pure sense, The term "I" plays the same role as a name, they're both used for the convenience of communication.

True!! And buddha has clearly said when conceptions occurs. The moment mother and father get together, the Gandabba is already present close to them.
