I am 17, and last august my group stopped at Lourdes for 2 days on our pilgrimage to Madrid for World Youth Day. Lourdes changed my life forever. I wasn't that involved in my faith, but the candlelight procession brought me back. Yes, im young, and yes I'm proud to be catholic. I'm tired of people looking down upon the youth of our society... not all are crazy. The youth are booming again in the church and people need to support them or they will lose them again. The youth are the future.

I have visited Lourdes four times and I wish I can go again, as its like heaven there, so peaceful and beautiful place. I had many experiences while I was infront of the grotto. I wish I can live there for ever. I recomand everybody to visit Lourdes, many miracles occur there.
going to Lourdes is one of my dreams too. I had a friend who had aids and she went to Lourdes and she came cured. what a miracle! I always pray to Mary for all the sick, I trust on her that she will take care of their pains, and will be with them at the last moments of their lives. Everything I want, I ask Mary and she always listens. I have a friend in coma right now since December and listening to this song reminds to ask my Dear Mother to intercede for her to her Son Jesus Christ our Lord..

Ik was enkele jaren terug voor het eerst in Lourdes. Na mijn mislukte rugpperaties was ik eindelijk met behulp van mijn rolstoel weer actief. Was wel een gelovig kerkganger maar had weinig met Maria. Via het CZ naar Lourdes mogen gaan, en daar gebeurde er heel veel met me. Ik wist eindelijk wat Mariaaanbidding was / is. Geweldig, overweldigend, emotioneel, energiegevend, enz. I stood in front of basilica and sang "Ave Maria" in Czech language on 22nd August 2012. It was very nice and impressive feeling to stay here and sing it to Maria as deputy of one of the most atheist countries in the world. I am grateful to you, my Mother, that I have visited this beautiful city. It's a pity that commercialism has taken a big part of this graceful place.

That movie won 4 Oscars at the 1943 Academy Awards. I look forward to going to Lourdes one day and to Nevers, France to see St. Bernadette's body in her beautiful nun's habit in the glass reliquary. The candlelight procession at Lourdes with pilgrims singing the Lourdes Ave seems breathtaking.
I've been to Lourdes every summer since 2005. I'm by no means a devout christian, but regardless of whether you believe or not, whether you go there hoping that you'll be healed, or go to help the sick (which is why I go), It's a special place, and if you go down to the grotto late at night/very early morning (1-2am is best), you can almost feel that there is "something" in the air that makes it different, even from the rest of the domaine, which feels different from the rest of the town itself.
I love going to lourdes, my wife have been going every year since 1995. The one i notice when i arrive is the peace and tranquillity.There is something else that strikes me is the determination on the faces of all the helpers. I think they are wonderful people spending there free time and sometimes there annual holidays just to help the less fortunate . I would just love to have the courage to do the same someday before i get too old

The primary reason for going to lourdes is not for a cure or a miracle rather it is in the hope of courage and fortitude if you like a holistic approach to suffering and its many challenges,the search for grace doesnt only entail the curing of bodily ailments rather the nurturing of the soul which is eternal,this body whether perfect or not will decay and return to earth this soul shallnot.That is the mystery of faith,you do not have to believe .you have free will.

Im a young teenager and lourdes is the light of my life and my whole life changed because I visited it for the first time in 2011. Im irish, and am quite religious. God help anyone who dosent uderstand the magical beauty of lourdes. Give out and codemn us, I dont care, I love Lourdes and I laugh at all your stupid comments. :D

I am Jewish and went twice to Lourdes and went in the baths twice, and I'm telling you there is something there which is Holy and beautiful and of God
I leave tomorrow for our yearly pelerinage. Looking forward to have that nice experience again. Still great to be a catholic!!!
