- One band is synonymous with Leicester City Football Club with a number of tracks which are synonymous with football in general. And that band is Leicestershire based band Kasabian.
Craig Beazley welcomed on former front man Tom Meighan to discuss his early days supporting the foxes to becoming a musican and who his biggest influences are to the current day producing his first solo album The Reckoning with a special reveal for album number two on the way in September.

I imagined someone would bring this up when I interviewed Tom. Fact is this... Tom has shown remorse and apologised. It was clear he was, as mentioned, going through a bad time like so many people do. Don't always believe the media, the media will try to blow up a situation to create a story and a negative story sells more than a positive one. Choose kindness and forgiveness.
@@utciadafcbTo be honest, people who are really interested in Tom's work have long since figured it all out. Such things are written by people who are not interested in the truth, they heard familiar words in media and that's enough for them. I have supported Tom for many years and will continue to do so. He is a great frontman, singer and songwriter now. I wish Tom all the best. And I can say this, he doesn't deserve all stuff he and his family have been through and people who write things like that about him don't deserve any attention. Let them cry about it. Thanks for your work, mate!
Completely agree and likewise, I've always liked Tom's work so once I had this interview agreed I was absolutely buzzing. For me, without Tom Kasabian isn't the same so hopefully one day everything will be solved but until then we can enjoy Tom's solo music with the voice and sound of Kasabian. It feels more Kasabian than Kasabian feels Kasabian if that makes sense. Appreciate your brilliant comments and hopefully Tom can join us again in the future for a chat
@@utciadafcbYeah, I know what you're talking about. I was a hardcore Kasabian fan for years and what for me made them what they were is Tom. With all due respect, Kasabian is just a name to me now. I wish Tom the attention his music deserves.
