    The combination that dropped him was so fast, vicious and exquisitely beautiful at the same time. If you don't give a damn about Inoue and continue to think he's just a hype job, your loss. All of his fights have been incredibly exciting to watch. There are always several "WHOA!! What the FUCK did he just do???" moments. As a fan of the sweet science, what he brings to his performances is a wet dream for me to watch. Yeah... I said it.

      Thanks for getting it man. I'm an American, but Naoya Inoue is too good for me to not be a fan. I was born in 2002, so I definitely didn't grow up watching Sugar Ray Robinson, but I am lucky that I get to watch the most dominant, exciting, and skillful fighter since Sugar Ray, and in his prime no less. He gets better every fight, and he hasn't let the skill gap between him and his competitors keep him from getting better every fight. People who cry hypejob are delusional, because "The Monster" is the Real Deal

    Inoue seems to naturally understand how to put tons of torque on his shots. +His balance, angles, footwork, movement, distance is just extra to his velocity/accuracy/speed. +Durable/killer instinct fight IQ/striking diversity/endurance output/power speed lasts into the later rounds. It's insane!

    • @cacogenicist
      @cacogenicist Рік тому +4

      Inoue maintains power, without gassing himself by _loading up_ -- he generates the torque you mention with just superior body mechanics. Especially with the little guys, it really seems to help to have a very solid base on you, and Inoue has those almost Manny-like legs on him. Which also helps with going in and out explosively, controlling range.

    He's better than Pacquiao as Mike Tyson has said. I agree with him.
    Inoue's power and speed and accuracy of his punches come from his feet positions . With such such short distance he can deliver speed and power like Bruce Lee's one- inch punch. Probably Inoue has studied and applied its principle. Most importantly it's the stance that counts.

    P4P is not just about the wins stats. It should be how dominant are those wins. KO ratio should be the main criteria. Inoue has the highest KO percentage (90%), higher than Usyk and Crawford. This kind of KO ratio in the lower weights is unprecedented. He is a 4 weight divisions champion. He unified all 4 belts in the bantamweight by destroying all 4 champions to conquer those belts. Unlike Crawford, he only had to fight one guy to get 3 belts. Then he vacant all his belts and moved up division to take on the top dog who’s also a unified champion and Inoue took all of his belts without a sweat. Now, that’s impressive.

    • @ar_equalizer
      @ar_equalizer  Рік тому

      You made a lot of great points and I’m not disagreeing at all. Inoue deserves P4P recognition but Crawford has been a champion since 2014 and is still dominating. The problem with fulton is that all of those decisions wins that made his weak ass career made him feel like he was wayyy better then what he actually was. He has no agility, power or IQ. The real problem fulton has is his legs, he has no legs, they are almost non existent. His legs is what causes fulton to look like an amateur. He doesnt work out his legs like hes supposed to, to get some power behind those punches. Inoue works out every muscle in his body and does repetitious training. Fulton will not quit boxing, Fulton is in a family of boxers. The lower weights have seen a big jump in interest - they are flashy but more like fights "regular" people experience in our thoughts and the image we run in out thoughts. For the audience the lightweights are fast and flashy, active and punching and punching. In the feathers and bantam weights punches usually fly - fisticuffs and swings. The recipient fist fly fighters are fist bopped with repetition, swings and punches, counter punches and bam, punches . . . then a Manny P. comes thought the light weight ranks destined to reach up towards the lofty heavy weights, up into the middle weights. Okay, but the Leightweights continue, training, working, exhibiting, competing, continuing to be the most entertaining respect fighters, flashy, multiple fist dealt out, taking punches . . . it's those exciting lower weight are fighters that have gained our respect.
    Fulton has a frame that will continue to add muscle, weight and now on the list, more power, more workouts . . . I commend Fulton on how he was calm and collected and positive. He won me over with his speaking, his "cool' thoughts, his interactions, his positivism - (Stephen, he never raised his voice + it was awesome). He will also move up to more food and eating, we will see Fulton when he's added to his boxing set and has more muscle in a heavier weight division. He's likely 145 lbs. for real and needs to eat a bunch of food for his actual weight for a few weeks. That makes Inoue an excellent boxer with an innate sense of exploiting his opponent’s weaknesses. You don’t have to be slick to do that. Great question though!

    I could be wrong and the outcome probably would have been the same but the importance of spiritual righteousness in a fight cannot be overstated but honestly I think scooters trainer didn't do him any favors by bringing up the glove situation all you have to do is look at scooters expression when his trainer brought that up. Skills pay the bills , physical attributes are the vehicle for a fighter but spiritual righteousness is without doubt the foundation and unfortunately cool boys team fucked that up🤦

    • @ar_equalizer
      @ar_equalizer  Рік тому +1

      It’s true. Fulton may have a case that he took round 5 or 7 because they were “swing” rounds but even still Inoue controlled those rounds with his jab and constant calculation of pressure. Hence, Fulton really got dominated the entire fight and every round
