    Fulton was just previously an undefeated fighter beating many “undefeated” fighters and now all the sudden he has lots of holes in his game. Fulton still beats everyone else at 122. To say Inoue is better than Fulton is a vast understatement. Inoue is just different, a true generational talent.

    Folks need to stop accusing small Asian fighters of juicing lol. Some folks won't say who but they just don't think small Asian fighters have power lol. That's the most ridiculous narrative being thrown around leading up to the fight along with the handwraps. Power is from the calves. Asians actually have short legs but big calves for balance. Hence we dominate gymnastics and anything with flexibility. Manny and now Inuoe have been accused and both dudes never failed a test. Stop the cap. That's God gifted power. Inuoe had 48 KOs in his 75 wins in the amateurs. That's with headgear and unheard of. The power is real.

Respect to Fulton, dont blame Fulton he just ran into what all those others found out....Inoue on another level. Fulton went out as a warrior and not run. Like with all the others, inoue strikes so hard even when it’s blocked people get knocked off balance and have to restabilize and reset. Unless u punch hard like donaire to have inoue respect u it just ain’t gonna happen

    There was no change in Fulton because his jab wasn’t working due to the speed and distance of Inoue. This shocked Fulton imo. He didn’t have a plan B which could’ve been due to underestimating the monster. If you take away Fulton’s jab, he is an ineffective fighter since he has no power.

    Inoue's power is real, and his speed was shocking. Both of these qualities were greater than Fulton anticipated. Inoue has in fact fought name opponents, including champions in 3 previous divisions. It's just that Americans don't seem to care about those names because there aren't that many smaller Americans in boxing. That doesn't mean that Inoue has not had as high a quality of opposition if not higher than many Americans in the higher divisions. Yes, I agree that Inoue is more disciplined than Pacquiao in some areas. However, Pacquiao could get away with what he did because he was even faster and more powerful. There's a reason why he was a 9-division world champion.

The reason fulton was basic was cuz he has no legs, his legs are almost non existent. He needs to work out his legs and do repetitious foot work and drills and he"ll improve his agility and power. It's as if some of these guys never saw Fulton fight. Most of these guys sound as if they'd never seen Inoue fight either. Scoot's wide stance is apparent in every one of his fights. A wide stance limits your footwork, limits your power, makes it easy for you to be knocked down, and takes away any size advantage. Someone finally showed Scoot's weaknesses and took advantage of them. This was a very typical Inoue fight. Everything Inoue showed in this fight he's done in every fight I've seen him in. The footwork, the speed, the educated jab, the variety of punches, the ability to show power off of his back foot, his adaptability, his ability to read opponents weaknesses on the fly, his surprising strength, and more.

    Lots of people believe Fulton did what he could do. He had wide stance to keep himself with his leg placing forward, thus Inoue had difficulty to step in to punch Fulton. Inoue said Fulton intentionally stepped on Inoue's foot time to time. Inoue's defensive skills should surprise Fulton when Fulton missed uppercut in the 1st round. (because it should be one of Fulton's game plan) Fulton's biggest miscalculation was Inoue's jab was much better than Fulton's I do not think Fulton underestimated Inoue's skills. Fulton showed his skills. Size difference showed in the fight. Inoue was just in different class as Tim Bradley said.

  • @andypayne2743
    @andypayne2743 Рік тому +2

    It looked like Fulton with that wide stance was looking to get the feel of the timing for Inoue’s jab. Thought at times he had his weight on front foot looking to pull counter, fulton was feinting early doing this with the lead hand and Inoue didn’t fall for any of the traps. Looked like a round later fulton shortened the stance too and whatever he tried didn’t work. I think fulton is elite. Great feet and a really versatile lead hand with jab, up jab turns it into a long hook at times. Inoue’s jab is (so I thought) a one dimensional power jab. But if that’s a 1d jab, that’s all he needs. He steps in with it beautifully. This was an amazing performance from a special boxer v an elite boxer.

    These guys didn't think Inoue was a smart boxer? Do American boxers and trainers not do their homework of watching fight films of their fighter's possible opponents? Not only does Inoue have the power, he uses it intelligently. Wears down the body before landing a hard right hand to the face or just plain bodyshot KOs opponents with his left.
    Didn't think he'd be that tough? He fought 4 weight division champ Donaire who broke his right orbital bone in the first couple rounds and the monster still won with 1 good eye with UD. Donaire was the first person to go the distance with Inoue and the experience made him a better fighter. He learned to be more defensive and less reckless after first win against Donaire. In their rematch Inoue TKO'd Donaire in the 2nd round using everything he learned up to that point.
    American boxing fans need to stop thinking only US boxers are top dog. They need to research foreign boxers more.
