I am 77 years old and in 1969 I bought a new Chevelle, S.S. 396. It was my pride and joy. Me and my buddies had a ball racing. Back then our highways were safe to do that. When no other vehicles were around and we were very careful not to endanger anyone. Sadly our roads today are a friggin mess. Overcrowded kaos. It is no fun driving performance cars today. Sadly we are overcrowding ourselves. I will never outgrow performance. If I were to get one, like the Dodge Challenger Demon, it wouldn't be the same today as when our roads, years ago, were 100% safer for opening it up and letting it rip. For you guys today, have fun but be very, very careful. Don't forget if you are caught by John Law, at 150 + mph, you will be in deep, deep do- do.
