My top to maybe help.
Whenever you feel the urge to go and play the machines, just do something, anything for a while. Maybe some house cleaning, gardening, listen to music, watch tv, chat to someone on the phone.
Its worked for me many times and can go weeks without a gamble whereas before I gambled almost every single day. I'd chase a loss day after day. These days if I have two significant enough losses I take a break until I am back on track with what I budget for, for a month.
Of course I still lose overall, but now it's only money I can afford to lose over a given period of time.

Kings Honour is probably the fairest slot out there. Gamble for max spins and it'll nearly always give you the jackpot. Quite often jackpot for a lof fewer than max spins as well.

I was speaking to the regional manager of admiral for devon and saying people play these machines for a form of entertainment myself included but the fun is going as bonuses are paying zero more and more often, he said loads of people have said the same thing and they are losing customers for it.
Honestly i had a £1.80p bonus on black night evolution onax stake . And dont even get me started on monser catch and burn erm up gold . Why not meet in the middle give average paying bonuses as thats what we play for instead of either jackpot or nothing

I shoved several hundred quid through that (Un)Inspired Horse Gold Misery or whatever it is called in literally minutes on the 'premium play' for a highest win of maybe a fiver, then I loaded up Golden Bellend which it is a clone of on another terminal gambled a small win cheap in to 10 spins which I collected and it paid jackpot, this is the problem these days the games are so extreme high volatility you can't have a decent session play any more you'll lose or win a fortune within the space of a few minutes which is no fun at all really

I was playing a cops and robbers fruit machine (actual fruit machine) It was £100 jackpot and I put in £550 without collecting a single win. It didn't offer me more than £10. I complained and an engineer came out next day to look at it. Said it was fine but they gave me £50 back as compensation. Something wasn't right there
