You can hear the refinement of his sound and his improvement on his songwriting and production whilst keeping some of the lo-fi charm. Great artist, his newest album is like if hyperpop, folk and 90s alt rock had a threeway. Would recommend as well!

yes get sandy with it!!!! i'm biased but i think alex g is one of the greatest living american singer/songwriters active right now; immense discography, musical development while still retaining his sound, and a prime example of how good bandcamp can be. def try digging through his discography, everyone's got their favorites but my personal favorites are Race and DSU also check out Jai Paul - Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)

I believe Mary is a metahphor for marijuana. "leave you to rot", "waste your time", "i wanna feel whatever you think i should" and at the end "'i am real and you are not" are a profound comparisons to weed and addiction.
If you liked Change you should check out one of the live performances of it. When he does it live he does an explosive outro that I wish everyday was on the album version. Sounds more hopeful almost, like things changed and that’s alright.

It’s not perfect for a lot of reasons but it’s good for user-made lists and charts based on genres/year/countries (ex: trying to find the highest-rated dubstep album from Egypt in the 2010s). I think it’s worth checking out at least. Also, if you don’t want to give every single album a number rating you could also just use it to catalogue what you’ve listened to so far.

I also noticed during your Pink Tape reaction that you said that you never really listened to chop suey. I feel like you kinda have to listen to System Of A Down. Their album Toxicity is one of the most highly regarded metal records of all time, and the band in general donät really have any bad songs. Keep doing what you're doing Smags!!
