Yep, the original Transformers movie actually did have swearing in several spots. It was actually intended as a young adult movie, not for kids.
Tons of old and new anime have swearing. And yea its intended for young teens more so than little children.
The main reason was to make it a pg so it got more showing at the theatre.
Not exactly. It was meant to usher the new wave of toys, hence why so many Autobots died in the beginning. Ultra Magnus says "Open dammit open" but it's the only other curse word. When Spike says "shit" it got edited out in later releases.

I’m pretty sure the Transformers movie was marketed to older audiences anyway. So yeah, they outright swore in it because they weren’t aiming it at kids
they still could get away with it since they only swore once, to earn that PG rating.
It wasn't. It meant to usher in the new wave of toys. That's why all the celebrity guest stars like Judd Nelson and Leonard Nimoy played new characters. It was very much meant for kids.

What the ghost said was "Heaven's to Delaware, don't forget the Funky Phantom." The character was from a old cartoon similar to Scooby Doo, where, I think, a ghost named "The Funky Phantom" goes around solving mysteries. The scene is from Scooby Doo Mystery Inc. where in one episode a hole buncha old shows similar to Scooby Doo, help Scoob solve a mystery in his own dream. This is also the Show that made it cannon that Scooby Doo is a alien god that takes the form of a animal, and there where multiple mystery gangs over thousands of years. I think the writers where on a Coke/Weed/Acid mixture type gurd

I actually liked this episode. Remembering all of these older cartoons that I just barely caught growing up. I was born in 2000 and when Boomerang was still a thing, they sometimes aired those older shows but it was rare.

I honestly couldn't hear the Sesame Street one at first. I was so confused.. But then I heard it after you did the T.T.S. (S.T.T.?) test. Sesame Street was my jam as a kid too! 😃
Really? The f bomb was the first thing I heard, but then I rewinded the video, and heard the actual word. I hear both to be honest. But it doesn’t help that there are subtitles with the f bomb. Weird how our minds play tricks on us 🤪 it seriously sounded like he was cursing!!!
