The issue: the watch would often make bad connection with the charger and would either not charge, or it would charge very slowly or constantly come in and out of charge.
The suspicion: the pins on the charger got recessed over time, making a bad connection.
The fix: reflow the pins so that they stand more proud from the charger base.
You will need:
A thin pry tool
Any soldering iron
A steady hand
Optionally, some glue or tape
Steps:
Unplug the charger base from the power supply
Using a pry tool, open the base by lifting the bottom cover off
With a hot soldering iron, heat up and gently press the pin out. Hold the base in a position where the pins don't touch anything, so that they can be pressed out
Ensure the pins didn't short together
Reassemble the base
Thank you so much bro! I had this problem, and now my fossil its working. Thank you from Mexico
You definitely saved me a lot of hassle and some amount of money to buy a new charger.. it works perfect now. Thank you

Thank you for this!
Nice video. Non related questions but can u give me a link from where I can get a strap like yours for my falster?
Hello, thanks for the feedback. I got mine from eBay, search for "woven nylon watch band 22mm" and you should find many options. I can't recommend mine because it's not that good, I only use it because all the others are too big on my wrists.
Thank you 💝
What’s that charging animation?
It's the default one in the Skagen Falster 3.
